Welcome to the 'official' discussion thread for the 1.1.5 patch.

We will hand out large infractions and/or temporary bans to those who stifle this process of patch note exploration
Some examples include
1. Posting false changes, good intentions or not.
2. Asking if anything has changed when the patch notes are there for you to read.
3. Immature behaviour and complaining over the patch changes.

When checking changes some good rules of thumb are:
1. 3DS and WiiU stages have different blast zones, even those shared (Battlefield/Final Destination/etc); comparisons between the two for knockback is not accurate
2. Percent values taken from proper matches (non-training mode) have scaling adjustments based on it's current freshness; a 1% difference seen in a match may not be a real patch change and should be double checked before being posted.

Cloud's Up Air damage and knockback nerfed. Damage now does 12% instead of 13%. Tested on 3DS 1.1.4 and Wii U 1.1.5

We're getting damage data in right now folks. Nair front hit went from 11 to 15 percent. Back hit went from 7 to 11 percent. Uair went from 15 to 17 percents and jab went from 8 to 11 percent.
Zelda buffs damage wise courtesy of Zylach himself.

Ganon's Jab is faster.
Ganon's Up Air sends you at a slightly higher angle.
Wizard's Foot now does 14% instead of 12%
All tested the same way, 1.1.4 3DS, 1.1.5 Wii U.

Ganon Jab percents changed from 7/10/4 to 8/10/6
It also has faster startup and less endlag

Olimar is untouched from my testing. Need confirmation on Knockback Angles/Frame Data and all that though.

Meta Knight's Up Air now does 4% damage (1% less), and sends at more of a horizontal angle.

Greninjas standing grab seems to be 3 frames faster (frame 14 -> 11), at least I'm trading with Bowsers dashattack now (which was frame 11 before).

I'm pretty sure Robin's unchanged damage-wise.
I'm 90% sure Corrin's fully charged DFS was nerfed from 13% --> 11%, unless I'm going crazy (uncharged shot and both bites are the same).

Mewtwo's Dash ends faster. He feels faster on a few other moves, but I'm not able to 100% confirm yet.

Fairly certain that Mario, Puff and DDD are all unchanged percentage-wise, not sure about knockback / hitboxes and all that jazz.

Zelda's uair now does 17% up from 15%

Her jabs now do 3/3/5 instead of 2.5/2.5/3

Palutena's Fair buffed 1% (from 8 to 9)
Zeldas Nair buffed from 7% to 11% (back hiboxes) and from 11% to 15% (front hit boxes). Zeldas up air went from 15% to 17% and her jav went from 8% to 11%. These are confirmed.

Needles got a range nerf. Went to training on reset positions. Hits DK on previous patch but not on new patch. Don't know if it's just across FD or even bigger range nerf.

Edit: ZeRo posted about it before me haha. Found out literally just minutes ago haha

From what I found for BJunior:
Multi-hit for jab got raised to 2%.
Kart Dash's Spinout damage increased to 12%.
Mechakoopa's explosion damage reduced to 7%

8.5% / 10% / 8% & 6% >>> 7.5% / 9% / 7% & 5%

Personally tested with 2 3DS systems.

I just did frame skip stuff & came to this result:

Nair landing lag reduced to 20 frames. His FAF is frame 21
Fair landing lag reduced to 22 frames. His FAF is frame 23 DAYUM
Bair landing lag reduced to 24 frames. His FAF is frame 25
Uair landing lag reduced to 20 frames. His FAF is frame 21
Dair landing lag reduced to 33 frames. His FAF is frame 34

To clarify, dash attack no longer whiffs at point-blank range.

Cloud's limit now takes 8 seconds to charge instead of 7, excluding damage given and/or taken. I'm 99% sure about this and tested it myself.

Sheik's up air has 1 less multi-hit, so effectively 8% -> 7% but it doesn't exactly work out to lower knockback because the final hit is still the same.

We're not exactly sure what's up yet but down throw is definitely changed; it would seem to be a knockback growth change.

Other stuff (needles/fthrow) has been said already.
