Everyone is talking smack 'bout my good pal Animal Crosser being in SSB4, so I've decided to create a defense post, here it is...
a moveset to begin with...
B- He can either throw a fruit, or shoot his slingshot. Charges.
Side B- Swings his axe around in a circle.
Up B- He either grabs a balloon and floats up, or he rapidly swings his net and goes up.
Down B- He digs a hole, goes in it, and appears in the direction desired, like meta knight's down b, but with a hole.
FINAL SMASH- A townsfolk rampage- A ton of animals and store owner people run amok the level hitting everything wildly. The birds like pelly and blathers fly around and hit people in the air, and the regular animals can only stay on the ground and run until they fall off the level.
Smash side A- hits the ground with the shovel and looks startled.
Smash down A- spins around with his arms out
Smash up a- Jabs his shovel upwards
Down aerial spike- he points his axe downwards and goes down, like toon link's but not as fast.
A-A-A Combo- punch, other arm punch, downwards slash with axe.
Jump and double jump- Regular jump, then a higher one with his arms pointed down and fluttering, his eyes are closed.
Grab- he throws his fishing pole and it grabs people, can also be used as a tether recovery.
Some Taunts, entry's, animations, levels, and songs....
Entry- he enters like he does through a door in the game, and the original town tune plays, like in ACCF.
Taunts
1- He spins arouns and cheers, like when you pay off your mortgage.
2- he holds up a shark and smiles, then puts it in his pocket
3- he sees a butterfly, and he catches it with his net
Winning animations
1- He smiles and the music notes appear, like the happy emotion in city folk.
2- Butterfly's are all around, and he tries to catch them with his net, and he falls over and starts to laugh.
Losing animation- He does the "sad" emotion and slowly claps.

-A random song from the town.
-A K.K. Slider song
-Main Theme
-the city theme

-The Town- Sort of like Onett, but the town hall, nooks cranny, and able sisters are able to be faught on.
Complaints....
"Animal Crosser is from a non-violent game, and he is a non-violent person that doesn't fight, he wouldn't work!"
*Well, lots of people never really faught, and even if they did, they didn't use many weapons or items or anything. Sure Animal Crosser never fights, but he has a ton of items and 'weapons' to use. Regardless if he doesn't use his fists and legs, he has more items and weapons than the average fighter...
"He has no real face or appearance, he would be generic and boring."
*The design for him could be the boy in the trophy in brawl and on the main cover of city folk, with the red shirt and brown hair. Plus, he has a giant round head, he's really short and he has stubbly arms and legs, which a actually gives him a very unique appearance. And his color changes could be different colored shirts or something.
"Tom Nook would be a better choice"
*Tom Nook is a big character, yes, but he really doesn't do much, and he isn't even the main character. Why would you begin a franchise in SSB4 with someone thats not the main character of the series they're repping. After all, they didn't start the Pikmin series with the preseden't or the Mario series with Bowser, did they?
"Animal Crossing characters don't deserve a spot, and Animal Crossing isn't a good rep choice"
*This one is crazy, Animal Crossing is one of Nintendo's best sellers, more so than most of brawl's characters. I'm looking at you R.O.B....
