When Mario (Zero) short hops while moving backwards, he lands with a turn around that slides him (kinda like a wave land) and cancels all landing lag and can act out of the turn around.
I've watched through this many times to see what was happening. The sliding that part is what confused me the most.
I might just be an idiot and he did something you could always do, or I just found something really cool.
if so ill call it the "Ken Slide"... jk.
Edit: yep im an idiot you can do that in sm4sh, but it still looks cool
