This is just my opinion on the default and alt costumes of the roster. I tried my best to not let players who use certain costumes affect my opinion and is solely based on the appearance:

Let me know what your favorite costumes are. My personal favorites are green headband jigglypuff, red jacket falco and green jacket with red boots fox.

For some reason a lot of the alts in Melee seems mediocre. Maybe that's just when comparing them to the ones in the newer games, like Link's Fierce Deity skin in Tr4sh and stuff like that.

And Pikachu's fedora skin is bottom tier smh!

I love green headband Pikachu in brawl/sm4sh. It's honestly such a shame that in sm4sh jigglypuff has no headband costume yet pikachu has two.

and 's green costumes, as well as Peach's Daisy swatch, to me are top tier, the same as this (not this ). The other characters...well, it would be mean of me, a 56-year-old female Smasher, to say I ain't thinking about them since I love and care only for Peach and Zelda, so...everyone else's third alternate swatch I tend to use. This is because the AI uses this costume in the early stages of classic mode on very hard difficulty.

Yeah for me The Blood Falcon alt takes it because he reminds me of M. Bison when I used to be good at Street Fighter.
