Kinda Sorta OK at Smash
Out of all those things, air dodging is the only notable one. Crawling seems absolutely pointless, and footstool jumping was kind of disappointing from what I hear :-(.One: With stuff like Footstool Jumping, crawling, and not being paralyzed after air dodging, the game will now have more so called depth
Most everyones DJCs were removed, save for Peach's (LOLZ), and you also forgot the turn around with B moves thing. That is also only from the top of my head at the moment. Two: Only wavedashing seems to be gone. L-caneling is still in but it's different, hugging, egdehogging, wavelanding, are still in as well.
This is the DUMBEST **** ever, because this game is obviously deep enough to cultivate such a large, successful tournament scene. That's because there are SO many options for offense and defense and with those options a plethora of strategies one could use to implement them. IF we didn't discover any ATs this game WOULDN'T have been very deep, but luckily WE DID. Those who are arguing against the existence of ATs don't really know much about the competitive scene of pretty much every competitive game.Three: No matter how you look at it, even Melee wasn't all that deep. People only assume that because you play as known Nintendo characters. If the characters were original characters, I gurantee no one would be claiming that Smash would be deep because they won't be blinded due to fanboyism
I'm not saying it is the deepest fighter out there, but the game is deep. To throw everything we picked apart with the game into the air and say it's only deep because we are fanboys is the most ignorant thing I've heard in a long time.
There isn't a pro that is afraid of relearning the game. There are only a few pros who have merely expressed their frustrations with how Brawl appears. Learn to recognize the difference between "fearing" and simply being annoyed/frustrated. M2King gets A LOT of crap about "being afraid" of relearning, when he was one of the first people to deeply analyze Melee from a frame by frame perspective. Why the hell do you guys think he wouldn't do that again? Why do you think he is so afraid of change? He isn't, he is just afraid that Brawl won't be a good game competitively.Four: It SEEMS to me that some (NOT ALL) pro players are afraid of relearning the game
Took me a while to get around to it, but there you go. I hope you come back to debate this.Five: I know this post will be overlooked. Whether people agree with my points or not. It won't even get counterarguments sadly.
