A Villainous Plot: Monsters sent to catch Heroes

As many may have been aware, they noticed Bowser weilding a similar weapon as Wario in another trailer.

I've also noticed that Bowser was at the same area where Rayquaza attacked, so I have a BIG theory about this scenario.

Bowser awakened a Rayquaza trophy and sent it into the lake where Fox crash-landed. He then waits for Rayquaza to catch his targets. If Rayquaza fails (which it did), then he'd have to do the dirty work himself.​

This also leads to the theory regarding Petey Piranha and Wario.

Wario awakened a Petey Piranha trophy and sent it to capture Peach and Zelda. However, he was only able to get one of them.​

I'm basically thinking that a bunch of villains will be trying to ambush the heroes by releasing each of Nintendo's nastiest monsters at them. Imagine Ganondorf wielding one of those wicked guns.

Anyway, what's your theory about all of this?

I think that rayquaza is there against his will. He must have been driven outta the skies by the halberd, or "tamed" by the ssa.

oh, and bowser´s eyes in that clip disturb me...

I don't know, he looks MUCH different from him in multiplayer, his eyes and mouth look much darker.

Wario jumps in with the same gun and shoots an arrow-like laser that goes through zelda and makes zelda a trophy.

I'd like to think that, Bowser, like Wario, is predominantly working for the SSE, if only because, at least initially, he thinks it could serve to benefit his ends.

But once Bowser sees that throwing his lot in with them is not what it's cracked up to be (that, or they try to mess with his boo, Peach), he'll probably change his tune.

Bowser seems to have a different laugh in this video. I can tell, because it is not the laugh he does in the Mario games. Also, his "voice" is different from the one he has in Melee.

This theory...actually has something to it. I really like it a lot, and it makes sense. We've already seen Wario with one, and Bowser too, so it pretty much confirms that they're working for the Ancient Minister...

Unless...maybe they're not?

This theory, even though its simple, make sense. I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the story turns out this way.
