Who is Gilligan?
Gilligan is the title character of the 1960s TV Show Gilligan's Island. He is the first mate to the Skipper of the ship S.S. Minnow, which went sailing for a three hour tour with 5 passengers. During the tour a storm hit and the ship sunk ground on a uncharted desert island. The show revolves around the seven castaways comedic adventures such as their attempts to escape the island.
Is Gilligan's Island eligible?
Yes, though a series of acquisitions in 1986. In March 1986, Ted Turner acquired MGM from Kirk Kerkorian which at the time included the United Artists library. August of the same year, Ted Turner sold MGM back to Kirk Kekorian. However he kept the film, television, and cartoon library, along with some of United Artists library. This also includes the RKO Radio Pictures library, the Popeye cartoons from Fleischer Studios, Warner's pre 1950 library (including pre 1948 Looney Tunes cartoons) and Gilligan's Island. The show is currently handled by Warner Bros Television for syndication purposes.
What sort of moves would Gilligan have?
Gilligan would function as a Support character. He is a lightweight who focuses on speed. He is fast, but his attacks are not as powerful as other characters. He also has the ability to spawn fruit, which can work as a projectile and a Coconut Cream Pie healing item. After every four projectile fruit spawned in, the Coconut Cream Pie appears. He can eat it himself or leave it for others.
Alternate Costumes
Along with having his standard uniform in the colors of his fellow castaways clothes, the show had a variety of dream sequences. Some of them with potential outfits include a Western style set, a Doctor's uniform, and a Jekyll and Hyde style outfit.
Stage
The stage is the island itself. It functions as a walk off stage. In the background are the castaways huts and the other castaways occasionally appear as well. Sometimes a storm may hit, causing the stage to become windy and blowing the fighters and projectiles around.
Overall
A classic TV show that could have potential representation in Multiversus.
