When you take a look at other fighting games, you realize that grabs aren't the only unblockable moves. I think this should of been added in brawl. For example...
Captain Falcon's Falcon Punch can be shielded in this game. However, imagine Falcon punch to be unblockable, it would penetrate the shield 100% of the time. So would other specials from other characters.
Here is a short list of some special moves that should be unblockable.
Ganon's B
Ganon's Down+B when used from the air.
Ganon's Down+B when used on the ground.
Ganon's Up Tilt
Link's down+b
Link's fully charged up+b
Link's fully charged b
Link's sweet spotted side b. (When side b hits up close)
Captain Falcon's B
Captain Falcon's Down+B when used in the air.

The things that counter unblockable moves are powershielding, side dodges, roll dodges, evading, character specific counters.
Also, not every character has an unblockable special move. But every character has an unblockable FULLY charged smash attacks! All fully charged Up, down, side smashes are unblockable.
How do we program unblockable moves into this game?
There is an unblockable item in this game, it's the spring item when thrown at the opponent's shield, it goes right through shielding. That kind of coding is already in this game, now if you can add those unblockable attributes to certain moves, shielding in this game won't be so overpowered.
