A new way to use items.(not a nooby rant)

I've had this idea for a while now and I wanted to know what you guys think about it. What if there was a mode where you would choose one item, and when the match began, everyone spawned holding that item. No other items would spawn, you couldn't get rid of the selected item, and you spawned with them after you died. Heres some ideas for EPIC matches using this function.

Team/1on1 cracker launcher on Bridge of Eldin
Free for all beamsword on Shadow Moses Island


NOTE:This wouldn't work for items that you throw.

So, tell me what you think and any match setups that would be cool.:)

btw I don't suck at smash.

I could see this working. I could also see projectile items working if you regained them after you threw them. It wouldn't work for some items though, like the hammer where you are unstopable. I would love infinite Pokeball matches though.

that would be kinda like a regular pokeballs if you think about it, only difference is picking em up

Well yeah, isn't that the point of the mode? You have an unlimited amount of ammo, items, or you can't let go, and you fight with them only. Every item would work the same or am I missing something?

But what would make this feature the best is... I'll use an example.
Samus- Cracker Launcher
Mario- Super Mushroom
QWANTO! (Japanese for BRAWL!)

well I meant items that are nonthrowable, but I geuss it could work if it spawned in your hand evry 5-10 seconds

if you were stuck with the beamsword or some other item with it's own smash attack all game you couldn't do character specific smashes and that blows.

why dont u just do one item (the lightsaber) in the item selection and put the occurence on very high?
