Hey guys. Before I get too deep into the subject, there's one thing I'd like to say. If there is already a PSA request thread, or a thread just like this one, please close this thread. I used the search function and couldn't find a request thread.
There's been a lot of PSA possibilities, such as Roy, Dr. Mario, Geno, Zero, Wisp, etc. I would like to request a PSA, and I don't know if it would be possible, but one of us could give it a try. This character was one of the most requested characters in Brawl, and he was at the top of my most wanted list. We all know who I'm talking about: Ridley.
If it is possible to create a Ridley, it will be very difficult. The most credible character base, Charizard, is currently not compatible with Smash Attacks. Unless this problem is fixed, Ridley has no chance to be a PSA character.
If he is possible, we should discuss a moveset here. The way I see it, Ridley would be a Charizard clone, differing in dash speed, weight, and special moves. His special moves would be something like this:
Neutral B: Fire Breath: Nuff said.
Side B: Air Grab: The infamous attack that made Ridley so hard to beat in Super Metroid and Fusion. Similar to Bowser's Flying Slam, but with a few differences. First, the rising motion is slower. Second, the opponent's damage steadily rises while in Ridley's grasp. Third, Ridley lets go of his opponent before falling, and Fourth, his falling speed is slower.
Up B: Fly: Same as Charizard's.
Down B: Ground Slam: Players of Metroid Prime will recognize this. This is similar to Bowser's Down B. He rises up and does a ground pound.
Again, I don't know if this will be possible, but perhaps someone could give it a shot?
