does anybody know if the demo was running with component cables (i.e. 480p and 60 fps) or with the regular composite cable? sorry if this has been asked before but i didn't have the patience to wade through 5,000 replies..

what about the updates? are they in 480p?

i've already asked this in gimpyfish's thread, but nobody seemed to have noticed, so... i know i copied and pasted too...

confirmed. Sending supplies.
1. SSBM is 60FPS with COMPOSITE cables. Expect SSBB to be 60FPS no matter what settings/cables you're using.
2. I'm pretty sure they were considering the TVs they were using and the quality of the visuals.

ok, so 60 fps definitely at the demo, 480p probably? i should still probably get component cables to have the best visuals...

576i is what I've got at home with the ol' component cables.

About that, what's the requirements for having a HD output? Is there a certain processor speed you need? Something technical? What's stopping the Wii having HD functionality?
