3rd party insides?

I bought an official white controller for about $45 on eBay, and it was in great shape! But as I opened the controller, I noticed that the analog stick and the X and Y buttons are slightly lighter that my official Platinum controller. Then, I noticed a slight difference in feel on those sticks, then I noticed stripped screws on the back of the controller. Do you think it’s innards we’re switched with a bootleg? Please help!

That's definitely a possibility. If you have other controllers, try comparing the boards inside, otherwise try googling what it should look like. If you don't have a triwing they're pretty cheap, but you might have a hard time opening the controller up if the screws are stripped.
