3rd party characters=Better?

I know that the guy who made MG series designed the stage, but I also assume that he had some say in Snake, same goes for Sonic.

Think about it. If you were to design your own character to represent your own game, and put as much bias in as possible, wouldn't you want them to be top tier and the best they can be? Wouldn't you want to have your character played more, liked more, and possibly be used to promote your sales?

Well Sakurai/his team do have the final say, I wouldn't doubt that Sega pushed them to make Sonic the speed demon that he is, or putting in Snake videos before the matches/where ever they go, to show the funnier side of Snake, and promote him.

Will they be overpowered? I don't know, i'm not Sakurai.

Third Parties = Hype and advertising which in the end = more money for everyone, period.

2-3 3rd parties = Great

4 or more is overkill, it would ruin the game completely imo they way i see it, only geno, megaman, bomberman and pak-man ther the last contenders running. bur in light of recent events~

~pac-man being in mario kart wii
~capcom saying sakurai never returned ther call about megaman in brawl

~geno and bomberman are the last 2, geno is higher requested and mentioned, so i think geno will be the final 3rd party (if he even is a 3rd party, i still can't grasp if he is 1st or not)

to wrap it up, 3 3rd party reps = Great = better advertisement for nintendo = more $$$ = more games and systems = WIN! XD

I think 4 parties is not an overkill, 5 yes but 4 no.

I think it will be Bomberman and I think we will get SE reps but Geno will be in not as a 3rd paty but in as a mario rep.

More than 4 3rd parties is overkill. I like 3rd parties but if there are too many it ruins the concept of smash: nintendo all stars.
