2GGaming recently premiered a trailer for the newest installment in the 2GGT series. Hosted on September 24th, 2GGT: Abadango Saga will feature the renowned Japanese Smash titan Yuto “Abadango” Kawamura. Originally known for his proficiency with Pac-man, Abadango has since shifted focus to Mewtwo, who brought him his first supermajor win at Pound 2016. He also keeps a ferocious Meta Knight in his pocket for those matchups his main can’t handle. Though currently unsponsored, his resume includes a win at Niconico Tokaigi 2016, 4th at CEO 2016, 5th at EVO 2016, and 7th at Super Smash Con 2016. While past 2GGT guests have often underperformed compared to expectations, Abadango has already shown that he can hang with the local talent in any region.
