2DS top screen glitch tingie

Hello people of the internet, I am having an issue with my 2DS and was wandering if anyone could help me figure out the problem. Whenever I'm doing anything on it it will flicker and freeze and just act really strange. I noticed this mainly happens when I play games that use 3d models, and nothing is wrong when I play VC games. I tried readjusting the ribbon cables, but to no avail. system is up to date. This is a huge disappointment to me and help would be much appreciated. Thx, -ChiLe
