Melee and Brawl collide once again in this summer's most anticipated Texas Smash event.

Events:
Registration begins at 11:00 pm. Singles will begin at 2:00 pm. (Again, 210-684-0101, if you are running late.)

Entry Fees:

Venue Fee: $5 for all events

Please bring a Wii+Brawl! It will be appreciated.

Brawl Singles:$10 per player
Melee Singles: $10 per player
Brawl Doubles: $10 per team


Prize Layout:
Singles and Doubles will pay out as such:

1st: 60%
2nd: 25%
3rd: 15%

4th will get a beer. If you're underage, you must forfeit to SOS....I mean 5th place.


WE NEED WIIs+COPIES OF SMASH. IF YOU CAN BRING AN EXTRA TV, THAT TOO IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I will bring a VCR to record matches, but it will be up to someone else to upload them. Bring a VHS tape too.

Matches will be best 2 of 3.
Finals and Semifinals will best 3 of 5.

Time Limit: 7 minutes

At the beginning of a match players can opt for a double blind pick.

Each player can strike one non random stage.

At the start of the first round, each player can use one random reset.

After the first round the loser picks the stage, the winner decides what character he will play and then the loser will pick their character and the next round will begin.

Stall tactics such as..... whatever they are at the current moment.... are banned, unless they are for recovery purposes.

Melee tournaments will be the same as the last Final Smash... strikes, resets, etc, and I'm sure everyone knows what stages are allowed in that game.

If Crews happen, there probably won't be a tournament for it, I'd just let there be an exhibition. If you want I could judge over it.

Each crew consists of 4-5 players, if thats what you were asking.

I know some of you didn`t go to FS3 because of the FS1/2 stuff, but I encourage you to go to FS4. FS3 was very very well run by Kyle and Dugfinn and no one had any problems.

Yeah, I read about that lame stuff. I even posted about it. While I was against Wobbling (and whatever new form it takes in Brawl) you can't rule out IC chaingrabs all together. It's the reason why people even play the character. That's like telling Marth not to spam fair or Snake to not plant mines at the stage edge.

So IC chaingrabs will still be allowed, just I don't want whatever the hell the real infinite is (something that can be done to 999% and above).

I decided that should be cleared up early on.

*sigh* People REALLY need to get their facts STRAIGHT.

Xyro77 (TGM) has NOT banned the IC chain grab. He has restricted the amount of times they can chain grab to 3 grabs. That's all. This was done in an effort to keep them from being able to do the infinite - and thus 0% to death players with gayness.

Basically, King Mosquito ^ just said he will do the same thing. So, both King Mosquito and Xyro77 have stated that they are NOT banning IC chain grabs, but are restricting them. Xyro77 has restricted them to 3 grabs. King Mosquito has yet to be clear on how he is restricted them (quote: "I don't want whatever the hell the real infinite is" ^ )

Also - I can't wait to attend FS4, the last one was loads of fun and I recomend everyone go! See everyone there!
