I HAVE BRAWL!!

Yeah, 2nd has Brawl. How? May you ask.. Well, even though I live in Europe, I got the game via Wiikey, and it's awesome. No more needs to be said. Sadly, this means I'm waaaay too busy to work on SmashDash, although I HAVE started it already. Please look forward to it the coming week. I will not dissapoint you!

(Alot of inspiration for this project came from SHOW ME YOUR NEWS, from Youko. Please show your respect and watch it, as it is the meaning of awesomeness)
This is the home of SmashDash, a recap of this week's Super Smash Bros. Brawl updates on the Smash Bros. DOJO!! website.

However, this is different. This is not ment to be serious at all, but to give viewers another perspective on the updates. It's something you wouldn't find anywhere else. There has been put alot of work into them, and they're voiced by Ian Kovich, a voice talent who is nice enough to lend his voice to us every week!

I provide scripts, animation and sound. It's a bit of work, but I'm able of keeping up. With some nice feedback, these recaps could become even more fun to do, and so there will be put more effort into making them.

Ideas are always welcome! Post your unique ideas on the thread, and we'll go over them.
To really get a feel of what this recap really is, you should just go ahead and watch the very first episode of SmashDash.

...Just don't go stealing our SMYN audience. Listen to the podcast, people.

That was pretty enjoyable. I especially enjoyed the interpreted lyrics for Fire Emblem. "He does not see the *****" XD

pretty good. very funny. and it's short and to the point. get these out on Saturday, and you got a good transition into SMYN on Sundays, which could make this a very popular segment

Sure, it was really good and I look forward to watching the next one, but I found this one far too opinionated.

Disliking the Fire Emblem theme? That's quite the misjudgment. It's like saying you don't like the Brawl theme. And the Fire Emblem theme is better than the Brawl theme. Darn, now I'm being opinionated; but you get the point.

On a positive note, this thing was flawlessly done. It gets a point across, you could say.

I'm pretty good with sound editing. I'll try making a theme some time for this.

Looking forward to the next one. And I bet I won't owe anyone that Mars Bar next week :x

Yes, I definately got your point. I diddn't make this at all to steal audience, and I listen to your podcast all the time, so you could say your an inspiration to this project, or atleat a big part of it. I have creditted you in the movie itself, and also twice in my post.

I hope to someday live up to even 1/10 of your podcasts awesomeness.

And again, keep them ideas going!

I was SO ready to shoot this down when I read it on the front page. Then I watched it and I must say that was friggin hilarious. Just have it come out on Saturday if possible.

Someone should sticky this.

I wish it was that easy to "bring it out" on saturdays, since I actually have small contact with my voice actor, and making the script takes a while (Since the last update of the week needs scripting too), and the animation overall is time consuming.

You can definately expect it sooner arround this time, I don't think I have to interpretate another song next week.

...I hope. :(

And making this movie made me love the Fire Emblem song. Tenderly.

Very quick and to the point, pretty much the opposite of Show Me Your News, which is focused more on discussion. These can easaily coexist.

Very funny, I enjoyed it quite a bit, and the sheer potential is huge. If you don't mind, I'll probably feature this in my blog alongside Youko's podcast like I do every Sunday. Also, you should host it on YouTube and get a following there as well.

This is pretty awesome as I said before but I didn't post some suggestions.

Well here you go:

I love how at the beginning how you displayed all the updates.

I would make an option to where you can 'Play All' or select on a particular Day to watch.

Yo, I gotta sdmit,that was pretty **** good. But one gripe. One, if a stage from Metroid is shown, why not playe Metroid music in the back?

Otherwise, that was very good. And the Fire Emblem lyrics - classic.
