Finally a great item that can save or overpower a person in the match! The 1-up mushroom!

What it does?

It appears like a normal item, and if you get it...It simply adds another life to your stock. This is one of those simple yet clever items that should appear in brawl.

PS: You can also turn this feature off in the item selection if you don't want it. Simple as that.

But should appear in brawl as a goodie item. :)

Interesting, but since it is so powerful, why not just make it very a very rare replacement to the mega mushroom?

That would work better imo.

It's a great idea, but what about in time matches? Maybe it could give you +1 points!

Yeah..i had the same idea earlier..except with 1-up mushroom i though of the rare candy from pokemon....i believe that pokemon needs more items from there franchise than just the pokeballs....

Eh, I think it's kind of cheap when you consider the speed of other characters and how much easier it'd be for others to get to. Great idea, but I think it'd be more balanced if there was a -1 stock version of it that looks exactly like it. Kind of like the giant mushroom. That way players have to take a gamble.

All I am saying

Is that we should bring this item up, let brawl notice that we want it. Than "THEY" decide how they use it.

So that's 'a what we do.

I can just see the noob matches now:

Hyrule Temple
Stock Ten
1-up mushrooms (very high)
No time limit

THAT's going to end well.

But great idea man, I think it would be great if it occurred at a mew like frequency (once every thousand or so items). And besides, we can always turn it off if we don't want it, it's a win-win scenario!

Oh, and just as the Super Mushroom has the Tiny Mushroom, the 1-up Mushroom should have the Poison Mushroom-it deducts a stock!

It's been thought of many times before. Heck, even I thought I was the first to come up with it :p

Discuss all items, here.

Ah HA!

I got the idea solved. It appears as rare as when you saw a super mario star in super smash bros melle. Very rare, but seen almost at least once per match. Also the poison mushroom should deduct the life as well.

The creating of this item in many ways will work for brawl. We just got to get it put in.

The argument for cheapness isnt a good one because there are many cheap items. Starman, homerun bat, hammer, golden hammer etc. This could appear just a little more often than a smash ball.

it would be better to just power your character up more, giving someone another life is pretty cheap, but there would be a sudden change of the fight once it came down

Definitely a great idea. 1-up mushroom gives you an extra life, poison mushroom takes one away. I think they should look exactly alike so people won't know which is which. Since you can turn them off, there's no real reason it shouldn't be in.

It would be like the team healer b/c it's made for a specific type of matches.
