Yay back to things looking nice again.
I'm really starting to appreciate Byleth's moveset. I beat a bowser and a Joker last night and felt quite proud. Sure I was in low GPS hell but I'm starting to realise I'm there for a reason and the system isn't broken so it was fair. Bowser beat me round one and went two rounds with Joker and beat him both times.
Bowser's super armor apparently means he can attack me in the middle of a rapid jab I got fair and square so that was infuriating, but I googled what Bowser is weak to and answer was jumping so I did back, forward and neutral aerials. Fun times.
Joker was continuously outranged by me so I dominated neutral. He was also doing the projectile ledge camping a little poorly and my brother being a Simon player I had experience with that so I beat that. He also really liked to do the counter move, which I understand because Arsen and big damage, but I quickly started to notice when he was trying to do it and started grabbing and doing fake outs. The end of the second match was him getting juggled trying to reflect every time he was landing and I approached but I waited and attacked afterwards. Literally didn't noticed that he had Arsen half of the time.
I should check out that Byleth discord.
