Nietono usually wins these tournies so that is invalid. Rain took the cake this time, congrats to him.

And 9B has been consistently winning in his region with ICs. Can't remember the last time he lost a tournament.

MK can do anything. including beating people who are clearly better.

Das results on OP show it. its nothing new tbh. just more icing on a cake with icing already on it.

I didn't think Rain was that capable.

Going on a results thread and starting crap about Meta Knight...pretty childish for a grown man, Xyro.

The Apex champion gets 7th in Japan, lol.
You following Brawl now?!

Honestly, I would say that everyone in the top 8 at this tournament has the ability to defeat everyone else. I feel like the the players in Japan are much closer in skill, which is why aside from 9B and Nietono, tournament placings are quite often a toss-up.

xyro the best in japan (by tourney record over there) mains ICs <_<; and walks around until he can CG you to death

u should try learning more about this game than just samus, then you'll be able to see what high level play looks like, cuz Rain played smarter than I've ever seen a MK play vs Olimar, in all the little things he does. I actually broke it down to numbers for my own study

I have come to the conclusion that there is no point in arguing against Xyro on this discussion, especially when he has no clue what he is talking about.

Are SRBT and Sumbato on opposite ends of Japan?
They are not on opposite "ends" of Japan. SRBT is held in the green area (Kanto) and SumabatoX is held in the dark blue area (Kansai) in the image below:

[COLLAPSE="Regions and Prefectures of Japan"]
[/COLLAPSE]

The two regions are still about four hours away by train though.
