  • Waiting the night before the morning Smash news is announced is like waiting for Christmas morning on Christmas Eve.
Twas the night before the Smash reveal and all through Nintendo's headquarters, not a leaker was stirring, not even Vergeben.

Nintendo's doing a great job keeping the last character from being leaked.

Vergeben is a hack and I don't know why people still bother with them.

They legit claimed without any proper sources that Master Chief was gonna get announced at E3 alongside a safe guess of "a 2D Metroid" happening, not even being able to say if It was Dread or something else.
The thing I don't like about WoL is that the fighters lose their old world forever. They're stuck with the one Galeem made and also the spirits never get their physical forms back. The story has barely any upside to it. If the fighters fail the quest, then either Galeem or Dharkon will take over the new world, and if the fighters succeed in their quest, then their spirit friends will leave them and they get to be stuck living in the world that Galeem created. Yay.
Was the Cuphead Switch port a gift of peace from Microsoft to Nintendo to show that they're friends now?
Mario 64 is one of the most important games ever created. It marked a turning point in the gaming industry where many games tried to have formulas that are like Mario 64's formula such as Battle for Bikini Bottom, Crash Bandicoot, Rascal, Epic Mickey, Banjo-Kazooie, and many others.
The ARMS game was the victim of a very troubled development process and a shoe string budget, no I mean a dental floss budget. Why else would the game have such a small amount of content and not a lot of music? Many of the music tracks are less than 90 seconds long too.
Microsoft has given Nintendo Banjo-Kazooie on NSO, Banjo and Steve in Smash, Cuphead on Switch and many other things, but Nintendo has never given Microsoft anything in return.
The final character will be announced the same day Nickelodeon All Star Brawl releases. What if Sakurai wanted to wait until this day to announce the character to steal people away from Nickelodeon All Star Brawl?
The final Vol. 2 character is going to be either an extremely gimmicky character or a team character like Pyra/Mythra or Pokemon Trainer. Otherwise the final character would have released long ago.
Pokemon was 3 years old when Pikachu and Jigglypuff joined (Japan got Pokemon 2 years before the US), and also Inkling and Min Min joined when Splatoon and ARMS were 3 years old. No character from a franchise younger than 3 years has ever joined. I wouldn't want this to be the case, but what if one of the eligibility requirements for a character to join Smash is that an IP must be at least 3 years old to have playable reps?
Let's say you had to pick 5 4th party characters for Smash 6, who would they be?
    I pick:
    • Goku.
    • Shrek.
    • SpongeBob.
    • Patrick.
    • Astro Boy.
What if Smash 6 was on Switch along with Ultimate? Splatoon will have two installments on one system, so it's also possible for Smash to have two installments on one system.
Should Smash 6 introduce non video game characters? Shrek, SpongeBob and Goku would join.

Grant Kirkhope says he doubts there will ever be a new Banjo game, but I don't buy it because he also said not to hold our breath over Banjo getting into Smash and then he got in anyway. He could be trying to trick us into thinking there won't be a new Banjo game so we'll be surprised when a new Banjo game does get announced.
What would happen if we lifted all COVID-19 restrictions completely? No more masks, no more social distancing, no more quarantining and life basically returns to how it was before the pandemic.

You realize that the stuff stopping the pandemic being removed won't make it magically disappear right?

Sad to say that life won't be returning to normal just cause restrictions are lifted. There will be flair ups, there will be countries who lock up, and there will still be holes in people's lives where there once was a loved one - mine included. Sticking your head in the sand and wishing it will go away won't make it happen but living in fear and paranoia is unhealthy and not a great way to live. We need active leaders who put the needs of not only their own citizens but those across the world to combat this pandemic and develop a global roadmap on ways to mitigate, control, and eventually eliminate viruses related or linked to COVID19. As of right now, leaders are clinging onto the promise of vaccinations of a select few choices and wishing for the best,. That isn't good enough.
Is Toad the most baffling character to not be playable? He's an important Mario character and he has plenty of moveset potential. Why is he not in?
    Torgo the Bear

I can understand why they haven't actually. He was never really a major character up until more recently, considering his only playable role outside of spinoffs was in the Super Mario USA. He didn't become a big deal until the Toads were players in the NSMB series (which didn't happen until after Brawl) and then Super Mario 3D World (which introduced Captain Toad)...and now Toadette is becoming more prominent as well.

Toad never had the timing right for Smash. In the fourth game he was kind of believable, but Rosalina got in through sheer popularity and Bowser Jr. was just a really neat pick. Ultimate only gave us Daisy because she was an easy echo (despite how sad that is) and...well...I don't really know what to say about Planty.
Monsters Inc's 20th anniversary is this year. Where does time go? The 2000's are now old enough to be considered a retro age like the 80's and 90's.
Name one turn based RPG that was made by a western company. Mario + Rabbids doesn't count.

Turn based RPGs are often called JRPGs because most turn based RPGs are made in Japan.
If the pandemic will never end and the world is forever ruined by COVID-19, that's another reason we need to invent time machines. We can go back in time and stop the person who ate the bat from eating it and then COVID-19 shouldn't come into existence.
Every Vol. 2 character brings at least one original attack to the table. Min Min has extendable arms, Steve can build his own walls and platforms and Sephiroth, Pyra, Mythra and Kazuya all have original side specials.
In a way, ARMS and Splatoon have similarities. ARMS gloves are comparable to Splatoon weapons and ARMS glove attributes are comparable to Splatoon Sub Weapons.
Is Sticker Star the most flawed Mario game of all time? I had a decent enough time playing through it, but it does have big flaws. It's a major downgrade from Super Paper Mario, but that's the least of the game's problems.

    • The game never tells you when you need a certain sticker until you need it.
    • You can only find some stickers in certain places, so you have to backtrack just to get the specific sticker.
    • Kersti's advice doesn't always help.
    • Battles can feel like a waste of time since they give you no exclusive rewards.
Is anime an art style or is a term for all animated things that come from Japan? If it's the latter, what's the point of calling it anime? Western animation doesn't have a fancy name.

Anime is a general term for animated things in Japan. It's called anime because anime is the Japanese word for animation. If something looks like anime but isn't made in Japan, it isn't anime.

Anime doesn't have the same style and beats as other forms of animation, so it helps to differentiate by calling it anime. Otherwise, you are just going to be labeling distinctly different styles and cultures under a generic term like animation which isn't really useful.

It's like when people use Asian to describe people from that region. You are talking varied and vastly different cultures, races, power relations and dynamics in a large region. It isn't really useful to use that as a descriptor like European.
What if Fox Animation had their own Smash inspired game? It would have characters from Simpsons, Family Guy, Bob's Burgers and many other shows.
Even if Kung Fu Panda 3 isn't as good as 1 and 2, it's still a great movie and it's still a billion times better than the DreamWorks movies that were released around the same time such as Trolls.
It's so obvious that Rey being Palpatine's grandkid was never the original intention. Nothing in Force Awakens or Last Jedi ever foreshadowed this.
Challenger Pack 11 could be a team of multiple characters such as a Sword/Shield Pokemon Trainer or the 4 BOTW Champions together. If it was a single character, I think the Vol. 2 deadline would be much sooner than December. September would make much more sense as the deadline.
