I don't think you can, I might be wrong but I think you at least need cheats on, nether survival though? That would be cool and you treat the over world like the nether.

A bonus chest would be used, because it's almost impossible without it. The bonus chest allows you to make a tree farm, pig farm, carrot farm, potato farm, and wooden tools. Zombies can have gear so that's a bonus. Arrows, bows, and bone meal from skeletons.. You get string from spiders, so that means more wool to build with. Armor from cows. Tons of useful stuff from witches. Feathers from chickens. Creeper explosions for emergency dirt.
