  • One of my most wanted characters in Smash is Lip from Panel de Pon, and one of the things I'd love for her to have as a bonus would be for all the other playable fairies from the game be her alternate costumes (of course this would mean she'd have at least nine alts...)

But here's another crazy idea to slap on top of that: what if each of the fairies had a special alternate costume that was inspired by their counterpart from Tetris Attack? Like for example, Lip would have a Yoshi hoodie, Windy would wear Lakitu's glasses and shell, Ruby would have Flutter wings, etc.

This would mean we'd have a character with at least 18 alts but I'd love it so much.
I'm starting to have a hard time figuring out which game has the weirder mix of crossovers,,,
    Brawlhalla or Fortnite?
I used to think Brawlhalla but Fortnite is catching up fast...so now I really don't know.
The next set of jobs for my SmashBoards Creates thread are up! The game shall be known as Super Smash Bros. Convergence, and our first Chapter will take place in the world of Super Mario Bros.! You can help us decide on the first pieces of the storyline!

I've started a new Creates thread! If anyone wants to check it out, have at it! We've got three jobs up for grabs right now!

Would anybody be interested in a SmashBoards Creates thread about a story-focused Smash game where you travel to various video game worlds to recruit the Smash characters and stop some kind of evil interdimensional force? It's an idea I've had ever since I read the Subspace Emissary's Worlds Conquest and I recently thought it would be good Create Thread material.
Am I the only one who really cares a lot about Pokemon Home and what it does? I've seen people really hating Home, and I can kinda understand why...what with the fairly lame interfaces, the fact that you need two separate versions of it to access all the features, and how it probably shouldn't be a paid service, but despite all this I really love having it.

I may not be a competitive player or even really a player who wants to train all the same 'mons across each and every game, but I'm really dedicated to catching every single Pokemon and owning a Living Dex. And thanks to Home I can do that, and even eventually get an actual reward for doing so (Original Color Magearna may not be the best thing to get for all that effort, but I still eagerly look forward to it).
I had this game idea a while back and forgot about it until now all of a sudden.

So...it's a Mario universe tactical strategy game, kind of like Mario + Rabbids, only it focuses on Daisy and the rulers of the Sarasalandian Kingdoms (Totomezu, Dragonzamasu, Hiyoihoi, and Biokinton). The game tells the backstory of Daisy training to become the Sarasalandian "Princess" (She's technically an empress but they call her a Princess for some reason instead).

I had ideas for all kinds of plot points, like Captain Syrup being Daisy's sister who turns against her to pursue a life of piracy, or even including a prequel to Super Mario Land to explain how and why Tatanga showed up and kidnapped Daisy. I also had some ideas about Tatanga becoming friendly afterwards and possibly helping Daisy's army fight a Shroob invasion.
My Dad is a church pastor, and my mom is the worship leader. So for quite a few years of my early childhood, I only knew two kinds of music: Christian music (which we sang at church) and rock music (which played on Guitar Hero).

Now, because of this, 8 year old me had the idea that any music with lyrics that didn't sound like Guitar Hero must be a song we could sing in church. So one day, I showed my mom Brawl's Fire Emblem theme remix and asked her if we could sing it at church that week.

    She was actually very mad.
I think there are actually a lot of Pokémon who could be really cool in Smash with a Pyra/Mythra style swapping mechanic, where the stats and special moves change but the standard moves don’t.

Some of my ideas were Calyrex (swapping between Glastrier and Spectrier), Meloetta, Latias and Latios, or perhaps even the many forms of Cosplay Pikachu.
Every single time I play in an online tourney, the only person I ever lose to (if I lose at all, that is) ALWAYS, without fail, turns out to be the tourney’s ultimate winner.

I don’t know how, but this always happens.

I mean, if you're seeded low enough, you're bound to fight top seed at some point.
Say what you will about the Rabbids, but they were actually pretty big parts of my childhood from about 2010-2015. If it wasn't for Raving Rabbids Travel in Time I probably wouldn't have become interested in history.
I used to rule the world
Chunks would load when I gave the word
Now every night I go stow away
Hide from the mobs I used to slay
    They once were terrified
Every time I looked into their eyes
    Villagers would cheer my way
    For a hero I was, that's what they'd say
One minute we had it all
Next our world began to fall
Away from all that it had once become
They all cried for my help, but I stood there numb

I gaze off into the boundless skyline
Note block choirs playing in the sunshine
Turn around, pick up my sword and wield
The blade that once forced evil mobs to yield
And hope one day that this chaos and
    Destruction turns for the better
    Never a bow in hand
That was when I ruled the land

It was the creepers and the skeletons
Blew down the doors and boxed us in
Arrows whizzing by like streaks of light
I tried all that I could to stay and fight
As the undead roamed the street
    Families broken at my feet
Life itself suspended by a thread
Oh, why was it that I wasn't dead?

I gaze off into the boundless skyline
Note block choirs playing in the sunshine
Turn around, pick up my sword and wield
The blade that once forced evil mobs to yield
If this battle should leave me slain
I know Herobrine will call my name
    Better to take a stand

Looking back on SiIvagunner: King for Another Day, I'm really disappointed we never got to see Thanos and the Men in Black team up for a "Friend Like Me" rip.

I don't know if this has really been brought up much in the past, but I think Smash could really use some more quadrupedal characters. So far we've only got Ivysaur and the Duck Hunt Dog...

Of course, the only quadruped I can think of who has any sort of feasible chance is Amaterasu...so this category may never be expanded upon much.
As much as I dislike Pokémon Go, I kinda want to bring it into a bunch of really small towns to see what kind of ridiculous things they had to use as Pokestops and Gyms.

I mean, I used to live in a fairly medium sized town (for Montana anyway) and even we had to deal with a Pokestop located at a literal trash can. Imagine what kind of stuff they’d have to use in a rural small town...

For some reason, a statue of Mary was used in my town.
It wasn't even a noteworthy statue of Mary. It was just a random statue. Dunno why they couldn't have just made a Pokestop out of the school that it was on the property of, but I guess there might be some rules against using schools for Pokemon Go locations.
Anybody else ever imagine what it would be like to travel back in time and show Ultimate to yourself in the Brawl days?

My past self would never believe me if I said :ultsephiroth:Sephiroth was in. :ultcloud:Cloud wasn't even in at the time, and is more related to Playstation stuff than Nintendo. Of course main characters have to get in first because that seems to be a general rule for Smash. Nevermind Sephiroth who is another character from the same game getting in over some other Final Fantasy. Especially since even back in my newbie Melee days I'd sometimes pretend I was Sephiroth when I was playing Marth.

Brawl did add :ultmetaknight:Meta Knight (who was the only one I wanted and sorta expected at the time), and a lot of other favorites to play as in the roster. :ultridley:Ridley would be the only other one I'd also be excited about. Everyone else I either don't care as much about, or I didn't know existed.

If Pokemon was in the real world, I think it's safe to say every country would have its own Pokemon League and Elite Four.

But do you think they'd have unique Leagues for each State or Province in countries that have them?
Here's a ridiculous idea I had for Smash: include the Magician from Ghosts 'n Goblins as an item.

Unless you turn him off in the item switch, there will always be a chance that he can appear from out of any container item (Crates, Barrels, Capsules, Party Balls) or even Assist Trophies and Pokeballs.

When he does appear, he'll curse whoever released him by temporarily transforming them into an animal that can still walk and jump, but has no attacks.
