Gates to Infinity had some anime shorts, I think something like that would definitely be cool to see more of!

I praise Yo-Kai Watch for doing precisely that giving every single one of its 1,000+ monsters proper voice acting on top of the better animation quality, actually challenging gameplay, an actually interesting story (that has skippable cutscenes) among a long list of other things. So yes, I would love proper voice acting for Pokemon to give them more personality.

PMD Anime would be pretty cool.
Though I don't think Pokemon need their anime voices in the games, I far prefer the cries that the Pokemon have used since their debuts.
