  • If the Switch's lifespan really will be 10 years, then each multiplayer focused series should get two installments on Switch, this way we won't have to wait extra long for Mario Kart 9, ARMS 2 and Smash 6.
I think if a Nintendo franchise has no anime or anything that resembles Japanese culture, then said franchise has an uncertain future. Star Fox has no anime in it, Punch Out!! has no anime, the Donkey Kong Country games have no anime and ARMS has no anime (unless you count Min Min). If these franchises had characters that look like anime, then Nintendo may want to make more games for these franchises.
Would you agree the the quality of the 9 Star Wars episodes works in a perfect mountain? If Episode 5 is the best one, then it's the peak of the mountain. Also if it was a mountain, then Phantom Menace < Attack of the Clones < Revenge of the Sith < A New Hope < Empire Strikes Back > Return of the Jedi > Force Awakens > Last Jedi > Rise of Skywalker.

Episode 4 is the best one because it's the original one!!!
Spring Man, Rex, Conker, Excitebiker and Geno must all join.

Excitebiker is probably the only one I can see joining in this game. The others I could see joining in 6 tho. Rex and Spring Man would make decent echoes. And against all odds, I do expect Geno in the next one. Conker's definitely the least likely but it would be nice to have 2 forgotten Rare-owned Nintendo All-Stars in Smash.

Rex can not be an echo. Not for Shulk or the Aegis. I barely know anything about Xenoblade and even I know that.
    Venus of the Desert Bloom

We all know he would be a Young Link echo.
I don't understand why Banjo-Threeie couldn't be made for the original XBOX.

Microsoft just being obnoxious just sleeping on their newly acquired company Rare. They only made Conker's Live & Reloaded during the original Xbox era and that's mainly just a remake of Conker's Bad Fur Day.

...Oh yeah... I forgot that exists.
What if Elastigirl from The Incredibles was in ARMS? Her design and abilities would fit ARMS's narrative and just because Smash forbids 4th party guests doesn't mean ARMS would too.
What if each version of Mortal Kombat 11 got an exclusive character in the season pass? The XBOX One version could get Jago from Killer Instinct, the PS4 version could get the Bloodborne Hunter and the Switch version could get Bayonetta.

I'd rather they not pull a soul calibur. Especially when you consider how much more popular fighting games competitively are now, having to have 3 different systems for people to play in tournaments would be too much a hassle, and honestly tournaments would just ban the guest characters anyway because players could never train against a particular one all the time unless they were privileged/rich enough to own all 3 game systems.
In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, there's an NPC who makes fun of Banjo's design and then breaks the 4th wall and says the fans aren't going to like it. If Rare knew that fans wouldn't like Banjo's new look, then why did they use it?
What if Banjo had a bad fur day instead of Conker and Conker stayed family friendly?
Maybe Microsoft shouldn't have bought out Rare and Nintendo shouldn't have bought them out either. Perhaps Rare should have become an independent company. This way they could have finished making the games they were making before Microsoft bought them and they could have made games for every console.
What if Virtual Console returns, but it only has N64, GameCube and Wii games? NES and SNES games are already part of NSO.
It doesn't matter if a newcomer is either base game or DLC. DLC newcomers don't have to have gimmicks and base game newcomers don't have to have ordinary movesets. Inkling and Ken have gimmicks and Banjo, Byleth and Sephiroth all have ordinary movesets.
Chris Seavor says he would come back to voice Conker if he was to join Smash, so what if Conker is in Vol. 2?
If Perfect Dark Zero is a prequel to Perfect Dark, then the Perfect Dark reboot will be the sequel. So we'll have a trilogy on our hands.

I can't see how that makes any sense, at all. There's little to zero chance that the reboot has any continuity with prior games.

Why wouldn't it have continuity with the first two games?

Because reboots do not tend to be sequels story wise. The purpose of a reboot is to be a continuity reset and start a new ignoring the canonical events of previous installments to start a-new, like Castlevania Lords of Shadow whose story is not related to any CV game that came before it.
In the SuperMarioLogan series, every character is an idiot, not just Jeffy.

Except for the Cheese Rat. He outsmarted Chief Pee Pee and Brooklyn Guy when they were trying to kill him with those mouse traps in that episode "Grilled Cheese". He's the only character I haven't seen make a mistake or did something really stupid at least once since like you said, the SuperMarioLogan cast isn't the brightest of the bunch.
What if Bayonetta 3 gets put on both Switch and XBOX One? The XBOX One version may sell better and Nintendo and Microsoft are on good terms.
Banjo-Pilot is a good game, but it doesn't live up to the potential themes of its concept. It's about racing on a track. They could have used cars instead of planes. You even slow down when you fly above things that would slow a car down.
Maybe FE haters don't have a problem with the FE reps being anime, maybe the haters have a problem with the TYPE of anime the FE characters are. If the FE reps had big eyes, goofy faces and wore bright and colorful outfits like the 4 Dragon Quest Heroes do, would the FE haters complain at least a little less than they already do?

No, there's just too many of them in comparison to other franchises. Donkey Kong has three, Zelda has six (technically three), and Sonic has one, yet Fire Emblem gets eight? Doesn't make any sense to me and never will.
(Though, having a Fire Emblem antagonist in Smash would be pretty cool, no doubt)

Fire Emblem has a rotating cast of main characters in each Fire Emblem game. If DK had multiple main protagonists, then DK would get the FE treatment.
In Smash 6, Banjo should swing his backpack at opponents that are above him for his up Smash. This would work better than the Bill Drill.
Should Banjo have been Challenger Pack 1 instead of Joker? Joker could have been in the third one.

I prefer Joker as the first Ultimate DLC just like I prefer Snake as the first third party. It lets us know that we’re not just getting obvious and fan-favorite characters.
When Rotten Tomatoes reviews movies, they review them without comparing them to anything else. That could be why The Last Jedi has a 90% even though the original trilogy is even better.

Rotten Tomatoes doesn't review movies - they gather review scores and show the percent of critics that thought the movie was good (which, in this case, means giving it a score above a certain amount - I think it's 70% or 3.5/5). I'm not sure how accurate this gathering process is for older movies like the original trilogy, since it seems like the original reviews would be in print.

EDIT: Also, I'm not sure why you're complaining, seeing as the original trilogy still had better percentages for two of the three movies, though the Last Jedi's score was based on about four times the amount of reviews:

I hate the "authority makes dumb decisions" trope.
If Nintendo wanted ARMS to become the next Splatoon, don't you think Nintendo would have put more effort into making ARMS? It has overly simplistic gameplay and a lack of content. The game had no chance of becoming the next Splatoon and Nintendo would have known that before they released it.

Agreed. It was a fine game, but it was very small in scope. Splatoon had an entire single player campaign to get the players familiar with the mechanics.
ARMS was just a regular arcade fighter.
A "90's kid" who grew up with Banjo should get a job at Rare and then be able to make new Banjo games.

I imagine the industry is rife with micro-management, however. So such an individual would be but a drop in the pond. Besides that, I think it would ultimately be up to someone 'higher up the totem pole' to make that call.

There are probably already lots of people who grew up with Banjo-Kazooie that work at Rare. It’s not like it’s up to each employee to decide which game a studio makes
