  • If I win a match without taking damage, am I cool?

You have me in an awkward spot because a typical answer I would give is, 'It depends on the match, and who your opponent is.' Your question caused me to slip by the "am I cool?" part. Regardless, you are 'cool,' damage or not... That did not sound good, but you understand.

I already know I'm cool, but am I cooler now? It was a R.O.B in the finals of a 1v1 tournament. I was bowser.

That is interesting. I do not know how Ultimate games generally feel, but both Bowser and R.O.B. should struggle to avoid taking damage completely when compared to other characters. The way I imagine that match-up, R.O.B. would have a difficult time handling pressure from Bowser, but if it forces Bowser off stage, then Bowser has trouble recovering his edge. Overall, I see it either way, so it becomes even more about the players.
Hehe! If you were waiting for a riddle, I made one a few days ago. It is still unsolved, but probably for good reason. It is not fresh.

That caught me off guard... I do not think it is unlikely that you would see me plenty, for I visit many places. However, I do not recall having seen you before.

Online smash does more harm than good. So I'm not gonna play online anymore.

Considering the **** that just happened, I have to agree. I really should stop giving nintendo money for this **** service. I could tolerate the BS when nintendo offered free online, but charging us money now for something so bad is ridiculous.

At this point I'm paying 20$ for the virtual console, Mario 35 and Tetris 99
Me: I think I'm improving at this game.
Ice climber mains: You wanna get grabbed at zero and die for it.

They are very powerful when skillfully desynched.
Sorry about that, Goomboi! There are some things that will get your threads locked, including threads that discuss topics that have already had threads made for them. I am not an expert though, so you should refer to the welcome center threads marked with "Q/A" and "Important" tags. As far as Larry the Cucumber goes, I think fourth-party suggestion threads are not accepted. However there are threads where you can state your desires just for entertainment. Simply use the search window, check the option for searching titles only, and enter key words.

I'm confused doesn't goku have support?

That is a very good point! Even the "Create a Smash Ultimate Sequel Project" thread acknowledges him as a controversial character. I shall ask someone later. Though, you ought to remember that people do not necessarily follow the rules, and some slip through the cracks.
I set my short term goal to get bowser to elite smash a month ago. I'm now one win away!
If waluigi gets into smash I will shave my head almost bald.
Browser is best superheavy hands down. Saying this as someone who plays all super heavies.

Edit:I just noticed it autocorrected bowser to bowser.

I've seen too many Charaizard players use the Side Special to try and catch people off guard. But most of the time, it really doesn't work at least on me since I either counter it, shield it, or dodge it. But I kind of think too many people try to use that move too much. I mean, it can catch certain people off guard, but it's kind of slow on start up and someone with a fast reaction time such as myself can easily see it coming and read it with a counter, shield, or dodge. If I played Charaizard more, I would use it more on reads when someone did a roll or someone was trying to get back on stage after hanging on the ledge.

Flare Blitz is great for hard roll reads, but using it on someone at the ledge can be really risky because if you miss, you'll find yourself off stage. I'm a Zard main and I generally use it if I feel like my opponent isn't show me enough respect - if they're recklessly throwing out a ton of attacks and rarely shielding, I give them the blitz. Also it can break a weakened shield but from my experience a lot of players expect Flare Blitz then and will jump to a void it, so it's not great at that - but I don't think it's a problem that Zard has a hard time with shield break when he has three kill throws.

I do think Bowser is better then solo Charizard. But thankfully Zard isn't meant to be played solo. Of course, having to know how to play Squirtle or Ivysaur can be off putting to someone who just wants to run around and hit people as a heavy, so I don't blame any fellow heavy enthusiast who don't like to play them.

You have a point. But sometimes, gambling on risky reads can pay off and it's so satisfying when it does.
I like how fast fox is.
I find it demotivating to realize no matter how hard you try you can never be perfect at smash...or anything for that matter.

There's no such thing as being perfect in Smash because how do you even define perfect? You can say it's never missing combos or tech, but you don't really need those to win. Strategy is what really defines being good at the game, but there is no such thing as perfection in strategy. Strategy relies on unknown variables such as how your opponent will react. Bad opponents can ruin good strategy by doing something dumb and then accidentally defeating said strategy. You can't predict or plan every variable and your strategy will always be in need of updating to the constantly changing situation, so there will never be any such thing as perfect strategy.

What I find is actually valuable is being good period. Expertise gives you freedom. You aren't lost or uncertain in the sense that you can't even see how long the path is like when you were a beginner. You have the ability to mold things to your liking and forge your own style. An expert musician can take a piece and add their own variations and nuance as they see fit. An experienced strength trainer is not limited in the things he can move or the obstacles he can climb (barring extreme obstacles). A skilled Smasher can take any character and do cool stuff.

Even if you can't attain perfection, there is still merit in attaining expertise by virtue of that sense of freedom.
