  • Is there a discord or somewhere else where people are still actively engaging in Geno or general smash speculation? I don't see much of the Geno crowd posting here in the Newcomer Spec II thread.

Felt like I have been so out of the loop since thread closure and just want a place to read about news and potentials.
hey fatman is it possible if you could also give me the reasoning why geno still in the running as well. i want to believe he still gotta chance ya know.
Fatman i know i never put any weight into your words due to my general skepticism, but i remember you talking about Sephiroth in Smash just a few months ago.

I don't know if this was the Mandela Effect and im misremembering something, but just wanted to ask.
Just wanted to say thanks for being such a great member of the whole Geno supporter circle. Even though we have definitely hit another big low, great people like you know to keep the spirits up. <3 Looks like we got a long way down the star road still, but we'll get there some day!

Why do you have a pink name, if you don't mind me asking?

@Bakugan2556 Premium users have the ability to "prank" other users, resulting in the pink name.

Dunno how it's done myself, tho.

    Fatmanonice
Yeah, it's an old feature that was added in Smash 4 days that almost no-one ever uses anymore. Basically premium members are allowed to "prank" someone once a month if I remember right.

yknow I honestly forgot that feature existed.
Do you think Geno is going to be revealed during December bro? Or more properly, during Mario Tournament? You know I’m 100% sure about Geno playable but don’t know if that happen soon or 2021.
    Fatmanonice
    Fatmanonice
I do feel like Smash in December is likely based on recent events. The Paper Mario/Octopath Traveler spirits being re-added without new spirits is a strong indicator along with the major online maintenance and firmware update recently. The Mario tournament is a confusing situation because it's split up by region and only two regions have been announced: Japan and South Korea. This is weird because the Mario Maker 2 tournament was not only global but lasted an entire week. It's suspicious but I don't know how willing Nintendo would be to do an actual weekend announcement.

Thanks for the answer bro! Let’s hope for the best for our boy!
Hello, Fatman. I hope you are doing well. I know we have not seen eye to eye in the last day, but I just want to say I was trying to help you and the other Geno fans from, well, overhyping yourselves to setting yourselves up for big disappointment. I would go into that more, but I don't want another argument, so don't ask. Still, I was concerned, that is all. However, this has gotten to me, and because I could not help out the way I wanted to, just like how I tried to help the Sonic fanbase from setting themselves up for disappointment before, I felt helpless. I was even crying just now. However, while it may be true that some people, maybe even a good number of people could handle themselves, I was not thinking that would be the case with everyone. I felt that because I could not convince anyone anything, or change them (not that I would want to), I was just a useless failure. Also, while I was annoyed at the one user, who you should know that I will not name, I would never tell him to change. In fact, I'd say changing him in even the slightest would make him lose his identity or appeal to Geno fans, which is not even I would want. Just how he showed his positivity and expressed it, not the positivity and optimism itself, was what I did not like, Anyhow, yeah, I felt like I could not achieve anything, and while I am sorry, very much, if I upset you or others there (I really am), I guess trying to help achieves nothing, and is futile, even if I was just merely concerned.

I am not trying to get you to feel sympathy for me or care, I just...I don't know what else to say. Listen, I have to go, I mean, you probably still mad at me, anyway.

Noted? If you are talking about me, I am still think you all have me down wrong, I just care about people like you guys, and while maybe overly drastic is measure, I just didn't want something bad to happen. No superiority complex involved. I am not the bad guy here, and no one in the Geno thread is. There is just a misunderstanding. I have seen some hostility, towards me, that is, but that is irrelevant.
" I don't really get this concept because nothing bad has happened as a result. Some people have wound up disappointed, I guess, but it's weird to me that there's been multiple cases of people announcing their departure with the dire seriousness of a job resignation. This isn't the Manhattan Project and I've noticed that any complaining of things not panning out has overwhelmingly stuck to this thread so it's not like the Smash speculation equivalent of Chernobyl either. "

First, this would be nothing like the Chernobyl disaster. The Chernobyl disaster is way bigger in importance, while something about Geno not getting in is a different case altogether. It is much smaller, but the sad thing is, there is bound to be people really mad at all, anyway. It is not the event itself, but the reaction, which are different things. It is not accurate to compare those two things.

Plus, as for the "nothing bad has happened" that because Geno has not had a real big deconfirmation yet. We have just seen other characters announced, but nothing that flat out deconfirms Geno. I know human nature well, and like many people on the internet, I know people are going to be mad, and are going to set themselves up for disappointment with overwhelming positivity when they don't have the proper knowledge of a character getting in or not. Sure, there is speculation, but that can only excuse so much. There is so much blindness going in and ignoring evidence against Geno, passively or actively.

I decided to leave the Geno thread and that is final. I am doing it for reasons people there apparently can't see, and if they think they won't be angry and rabid in the end, well, fine, there is still a chance they won't know themselves well and still get mad, regardless. I don't think everyone knows themselves well enough.

"Oh no, disappointment... As if this WHOLE year hasn't been a rolling case of that. Remember how I predicted Geno was going to be 76 or 77 starting the fall of 2019 and how that didn't pan out? Where are the casualties that people warned us would happen? Where is the widespread chaos? You had like... 3 people who were grumpy for a few weeks and a couple of people who took a break but later came back. Where were the hostage situations after 7 Theory didn't work out? Where were the mass protests when nothing SMRPG happened in the Mario Direct? We keep being told over and over again that the Geno fanbase is going to snap and blood will literally jettison from our eyes and ears if Geno doesn't pan out and yet each disappointing event hasn't resulted in the apocalyptic meltdown that we keep being told will happen. We keep getting indignant about being told we have the mental fortitude of preteens and the whole fanbase is a ticking time-bonb and yet we have yet to see these entrail splattered fits of rage we keep being told will absolutely happen because...?"

Let me talk about this. Again, those were minor disappointments. We have not had a large case of something disappointing like a Geno deconfirmation yet, and that will be the big bomb that will cause the rage. You shouldn't think you are immune to this. Plus, the hostage thing? You are overblowing it. It has nothing to do with those. I am beginning to think you are okay with being disappointed, and are coming up with excuses to make it so that it seems nothing of that magnitude will happen. Guess what, I am sure it will. It's inevitable. Maybe not in terms of many people, but still.
    Fatmanonice
    Fatmanonice
Disappointment is a fact of life. Just this year my grandma basically committed suicide so, yes, I think potentially being disappointed about a video game character is, in fact, small potatoes and implying that most of the Geno fanbase can't mentally handle it is genuinely insulting.
    CannonStreak
    CannonStreak
There are a lot of people who can't handle things. While some people may handle themselves, others won't. That is inevitable for some. Even if I am not right, it won't be by too much. I am just worried, but I know I can change nothing.
Hey Fatman. This is more of a personal off-topic thing if you don't mind, but I remember you saying that you were in charge of organizing events around Halloween. With Halloween breathing on our necks right now and the pandemic being a mf, were your annual plans cancelled? Some states are still doing Halloween, so I was curious. I don't know if I can post questions like this on your profile, but I'm new here lol.

Yet another case of me overlooking stuff but I mostly spent Halloween with my wife and promoting local businesses.
Hope this isn't a bother, but do you think Breath of the Wild 2 and the rumored Donkey Kong Country could be launch titles or even just launch window titles for the Switch Pro?
    Fatmanonice
    Fatmanonice
Possibly based on a number of things:

-So far 3D World Deluxe is the only first party game announced for 2021 but there have been multiple 3rd party games announced through March.

-The gap between major announcements and releases is typically 5-6 months because that's typically the gap between the summer and the holidays. 5-6 months before April is October and November, suggesting if the Switch Pro is real it will probably be an early December announcement at the absolute latest.

-Breath of the Wild 2 special edition pack leaked back in August. Retail leaks tend to come to fruition 2-3 months later, once again coincidentally landing us in November.

-DK trademark update in September with a bunch of stuff that was already confirmed. Kirby got a massive trademark update in September but was published earlier this month with the confirmed Kirby Fighters 2.

-DK and Diddy Smash Amiibo have not been rereleased yet despite DK being registered for rerelease in 2018.

All this said, I do think there's a strong possibility of these being "launch window" games.

Thank you for the reply. Had been curious to know your input on it.
The year is 2020. Nintendo casually brings Panel de Pon and Mario Super Picross to Western audiences after 25 years and Fire Emblem gets an official localization after 30 years. I've been saying it since last August but this is basically just an appetizer for stuff to come that people ordinarily would dismiss as borderline impossible any other year. COVID may have ****ed up 2020 but 2021 is already shaping up to be Nintendo's best year since probably 2017. Hang in there, comrades. As others have said, the dam should finally break by February at the absolute latest.
Yo. Rate my Deluxe Mii Costume predictions:

    Brawlers: Rayman, Klonoa, Wonder Red
Swordfighters: Professor Layton, Shovel Knight, Shantae, Hollow Knight
    Gunners: Dr. Cortex, Earthworm Jim

All are pretty great suggestions. I'm genuinely curious what they would do for Earthworm Jim but that would be the fun in it.
Hello, forgive me if this has been asked already or if this is a bother, but I was just curious on what your opinion is on a Namco rep, bonus DLC, and Waluigi? Before my hiatus you were pretty confident in all of these but since I haven't heard any of your current thoughts on this matter I am curious to know if anything has changed or if any new information from these topics have dropped.

Hey Fatmanonice I have a question in regards to a certain character, I know you probably won’t be able to answer this and if you can’t that’s fine, but I was really curious as I want to see them join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate so I will ask, Have you or your sources have heard anything in regards to Ryu Hayabusa coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? I’m curious as I know there is a supposed Ninja Gaiden Sigma Trilogy coming to the Nintendo Switch and I know that Nintendo and KOEI Tecmo Games just announced Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity together earlier this week, so I was wondering if you can answer, has there been anything in regards to Ryu Hayabusa coming to Smash Bros.?
    Fatmanonice
    Fatmanonice
Ryu is literally the only Koei Tecmo content that has ever come up. No Mii costumes. No spirits. Just him and nobody really knows why. Last December, one of my guys heard a retro style Ninja Gaiden 4 was being worked on or at least considered but then in February Koei Tecmo came out and said there were no hard plans for the future of the series just yet. It's a weird situation. Because of the timing of the trilogy (late March 2021), if Ryu actually is coming he likely wouldn't be earlier than 10 but I have strong doubts because, like I said, Ryu is literally the only thing Koei Tecmo that has ever come up. One idea I'm currently floating is him being a Mii costume but Ryu is just a character that has kind of existed in insider circles forever without any solid leads.

I do think it's coming back and I do think DK was planned as one of the big holiday games for Holiday 2020. The dumb thing is that everything has collectively been moved back 3-4 months so this game is probably a spring 2020 release now. My hopes are that we hear about it by mid November.

Me too... DK to me is the second OG of Video Game Franchises that defines Nintendo.
There's three other things in particular. The SMRPG remake was one of two things I was specifically asked to not make public by multiple people since April. The other is one of the three classic NES/indie revivals that's supposedly going to be announced by the end of the summer. There's two things that my contacts gave me the okay to make public but I've chosen not to because I believe their respective fanbases deserve the surprise. As I've talked about in the past, one of them has been kept a secret since last August and it's basically been a gaming community collective effort to not let it get out. On a much, much smaller degree, I guess I'm keeping the dead Namco franchise revival secret too but the other three things are so much of a bigger deal in comparison (no offense to that fanbase but they still deserve the surprise in my opinion).
I’m not personally itching to know these secrets, but I wanted to ask something I’ve been wondering about for a while. I read this as, “I know something you don’t know. It’s really cool and here’s some hints to ponder for fun, but I won’t tell you even though I‘ve been told it’s fine if I did. You deserve to not know like I do.” Asking as an honest question, why tell people you know a cool secret that it’s more fun if they don’t find out, instead of not saying anything at all? Why say that you know something you choose not to say, but not choose to not say you know it?

I’m wondering if this is how you and your insider/insider-ish contacts talk to each other about these things, like frequently they tell you something cool is coming but they can’t share exactly what at the time, and you do the same thing in the Geno thread because you like to be inclusive of people who have been rooting for him for a long time. The cynical part of me says that you enjoy other people knowing you know secrets and not telling them, but I honestly can’t imagine that’s actually true because you come across as a genuine and decent person (I’ve seen you get attacked before, so I want to emphasize that’s not what this is, I just wanted to ask is all).

Because I don't like hoarding information and I'm open to talking to people in private about things. For example, the SMRPG remake rumor was pretty much known by the entire Geno Discord since June and everyone was trusted with it. Not a single person leaked it. A lot of you guys are genuinely trustworthy people and could probably be trusted with certain things in private. On my end, I try to leave that door open. Some people are very avid researchers and speculators and will ask me questions in private about stuff I say. I will answers questions to the extent that I'm allowed to or that I feel doesn't endanger someone. Of course, I don't just tell everybody everything but there's literally nothing that I know that I exclusively know. I probably have a good 10 confidants that know everything I do because I've built relationships with these people and genuinely trust them. So, this all said, I'm just vocal because I'm comfortable being vocal and answering questions because, in my experience, a lot of people who do this really aren't.
    Fatmanonice
    Fatmanonice
I guess another way of putting this is I only know the stuff that I do because various people were willing to give me a chance and so I extend that to other people. I do think the flow of information within a community is a good measure of it's overall health. Yes, there's checks and balances but I have confidants as young as 15 and as old as mid 40s. One thing I often got in trouble for in Sabi's circle is that I hate the ivory tower approach. I don't like the idea of little clubs where like 5 people know stuff and giggle to themselves as the ignorant peasants below scrounge for scraps. I LOATHE that approach and it's a big reason why I'm so involved in the Geno community and I'm not just another talking head on Twitter.

Ahhh, OK I get it now. That makes a lot of sense. All this has gotten so bizarre over the years. Back in Melee... well whatever, you know what it was like, but now there’s so much swirl around things. There’s literally a (super) tiny cottage industry around Youtube videos talking about Nintendo games. Sure, YouTube has spawn a lot of small niche channels, but still, this is all so weird. At least for Geno the end (and beginning) is in sight.
Fatman, question - is there any possibility that Cacomallow plays into your theory of a Geno/Chief E3 reveal, on the basis that Mallow/Smithy would be Geno costumes (for obvious reasons) and Cacodemon/Doomguy would be Chief costumes (as FPS reps)?

Assuming both are correct, Cacodemon obviously made us think Doomguy but if Chief is the FPS rep coming and you have him slotted in for the E3 Mega Man/Palutena/Ridley/Banno spot in your predictions atm, it would make sense to put the FPS costumes with the FPS character, and it would have been worked on so early because Chief is an early pass release.
    Fatmanonice
    Fatmanonice
Yeah, I feel like this is how things may have panned out. Confidence in Doom Guy was practically face down and dead in the water around last November within the people I talk to and things just got gradually worse and worse for the character overtime, no offense to the character. Things seemed okay last summer but then Terry passed and doubt of Western reps outside of a handful of characters like Crash all but imploded, especially with Master Chief having a huge boon in evidence starting last December.

That's actually a legitimately interesting theory. Only big hole is Vault Boy coming with Min Min, but at least we got a subtle in-joke out of that.

Basically, it mostly rides down on whether the Halo MCC Switch port hinted at by King Zell does truly exist.
If I may ask, if you do have sources, why do you tend to make these, theories about things?

Not that I am doubting you, but also, this guy had something to say about you here.

    CannonStreak

I know how you feel, but you really shouldn't let them get to you at all. Just don't pay attention to them, and move on from there. Also, try to remain calm, and think to yourself, it is not that big of a deal. It's not the end of the world if they see you like that. Just be you.
    Fatmanonice
    Fatmanonice
It it was JUST criticism, it wouldn't be an issue. It's a personal vendetta for some of these people and that's what I don't get. There are some people who will not be satisfied until I flat out delete my account and have said so in some form. There's people that unironically want me hurt or dead over this stuff. There are people who have targeted my friends and have bullied them off different sites and Discord channels. That's why "ignore it and it will go away" doesn't work in this case. You can't really negotiate with people whose options are "delete your account" or "leave the internet." It's been said time and time again but the Smash fanbase really is bat**** crazy.
    CannonStreak
    CannonStreak
Either way, remaining calm is the best thing to do. I know it is hard to do, considering the unnecessary hate you get here and there, but you still can't let them get to you. If you do,, they win. Even if you don't delete your account, you're still not going to be the better person if you don't act civil and calm about this. There is the saying, sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me. They can't hurt you physically if they are far away on another computer. Sure, some may dox you, and publicly release the address of your parents, but they are still fools for acting that way towards you, and don't know better. They don't even know they could get in trouble for attacking you or anyone else in person. You could find a way to report any behavior against you if it happens. I know you are smarter than them, and that you are better. You just have to show them that you aren't the one who is wrong here, but with the way they act towards you, they aren't, no matter what is happening between you and them.
So I was curious Fatman.. What are your current # placements for 5 of your 6 character predictions? Like you once told me you assumed Crash would be 78. Do you have a new theory on how they will be ordered or? What is your current stance on our last 5 spots in accordance with 5 of your 6 choices? I'm assuming the 6th and final of your choices could be our bonus character, which IMO will be Waluigi as a seperate character after FP2 is said and done.

Do you think we will get Geno sooner rather than later? I know Nintendo is probably going to squeeze a Pokemon in there somewhere, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong..

A basic summary of how this year has gone regarding Crash and Smash:

-Crash mobile leaked. Was in the Crash 5 year plan document.

-New Crash game for 2020 leaked. Was in the Crash 5 year plan document.

-Was pretty confident that Crash was going to be one of the E3 reveals until about early July when a lot of new information concerning Master Chief came out suggesting that he was successfully negotiated a good 4-6 months earlier than originally thought.

-New information came out in this time frame suggesting the last successfully negotiated character was from Capcom.

With all this in mind, my original prediction order in January was: Waluigi, Geno, Crash, Lloyd, Dante, Chief

Now my order is: Min Min, Geno (Waluigi possibly a bonus close to Geno), Chief, Lloyd, Crash, and Dante
Hey, I saw something recently that reminded me of the rumors you were mentioning and wanted to get your input on this. Basically, a Brazilian Youtuber known as Coelho, which is/was a pretty important person in the Brazilian Game Industry (even though that's an unknown fact) posted a video today about a source that got in contact with him a while ago. There was a translation from ResetEra, but I decided to do it myself because there was some misinterpretation issues with that version. In resume, here's the info (I put my comments in parenthesis):

Things his “Source” got right beforehand:
Date and time of the July Partner Showcase 3 days before Kelios (Only one that talked about the time of the Direct, though that's easily guessable)
Something Zelda in the Partner Showcase (Coelho thought it was the Ocarina of Time trademark, but it was actually Candace of Hyrule)
Shadowdrop close to the State of Play (Pikmin 3)

Things PH, a person with sources that he mentions in the video said:
New Metroid builds off the 3DS game (Probably because MercurySteam is working on it)
New FE (Reminded me of you talking about 6/7 remasters)
3D World is the next WiiU port (Given considering how may people already said it)

Things “Source” said and are yet to come true and said to treat as rumors:
Some kind of presentation in August 10th (May be Indie World) or sometime in August (May be the Mario Direct or General)
Metroid 2D developed by a Spanish studio (Mercury Steam is located in Madrid, Spain)
New F-Zero in 2020 (Also reminded me of what you said on franchise revivals)
    - Developed since 2017 by Bandai Namco
    - Story Mode
    - Customization
    - Online Mode
2 Metroid Prime games are being developed at Retro Studios simultaneously
    - The new hirings are related to the second game, not the first one
New Kingdom Hearts for the Switch (I think this was Melody of Memory)
    - Was being developed originally to the 3DS
    - Supposed to be an exclusive (This changed possibly when changed consoles)
New Donkey Kong is being made by an indie studio (You already said what you think of it, but this was the origin of people asking)
    New Mario Strikers
    - Is in development, but something delayed it’s announcement / release

Crazy things “Source” said that even Coelho doesn’t believe them:
In February, he had info about BOTW2
    - Was supposed to be a December 2020 release before the pandemic
    - Supposed Beta name was “The Princess’ Madness”
    - Monolith is really helping out on this one
Monolith is also being responsible for another Zelda game
    - Doesn’t know if it’s a remake or a port -> Could be Skyward Sword HD or Ocarina of Time remake

As a bonus, Coelho himself also confirmed about changes going on with Nintendo dates last second, but couldn't talk about any of it, lining up with what NonSpecificGuy said about the corporate shakeup at Nintendo.

Things here that I've heard on my end:

-Mario Strikers has been a pretty open rumor this summer and the Mario Sports trademark renewal coincidentally happening near Mario Tennis's 20th anniversary probably shows it has a lot of merit to it.

-I first heard Zelda Remasters in April, I believe. The rumor was it would either be Ocarina of Time or it would be an HD pack of Ocarina, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword on the same cartridge.

-The Fire Emblem stuff has been around since last September. Like Mystery Dungeon, it was a canned 3DS project that they decided to simply move to Switch. Rumors imply 6 and 7 as one cohesive game or at least available on one cartridge.

-Last October I was told by a contact that Nintendo was going to try its damnest to make BotW2 a 2020 release. Haven't gotten an update since but it sounded like Nintendo was really serious about it. Beyond that, as far back as last August, a contact told me that Nintendo wanted E3 2020 to have Mario and Zelda as the headliners so I think that possibly supports it too.

-3D World has been rumor since December 2018. In December 2019, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, and 3D World were all things I had heard were coming in 2020 so, with two of the three coming true, it probably will too.

-Prime Trilogy has been a rumor since December 2018 and that's probably the second Retro Studios Metroid because everything I've heard about Prime 4 is that it wasn't going well and that it would likely miss E3 2020, something one of my contacts told me as late as January 2020.

-I've heard DK is first party but details are so few and far between. The only other thing I had heard is that there was going to be a hard push for it to be the big holiday 2020 title which makes me doubt it's indie but good on them if they can pull it off. It also fits the narrative I've heard since last August that Nintendo is going to trust indies with their IPs to not only build reliable "allies" but to also prevent game droughts/deserts in the future.

My wife and I run a Halloween Facebook Event group and we're currently in our 5th season. Because Covid-19 has nuked public events for the foreseeable future, we've decided to put extra emphasis on raising money for national and local charities this season and this is the first of several in the coming months. I know not all of you are Burgers and Halloween is kind of a smelly American thing but Starlight is a fantastic charity and any help from the Smash community would be greatly appreciated.
Beat DKC 101% on the NSO in two sittings and it's just a weird reminder of how much has changed over the years.

"Back in my day, we paid $60 for a game you could beat in a weekend and we liked it that way."
I'm going to assume Ratchet (and Clank) is the Mii Costume for Sony. Makes the most sense to me.

As much as I want it to be PaRappa, I imagine it's probably either Kratos or Ratchet.

I won't say whether or not if Ratchet and Clank are the Sony Mii costume, but I already know who it is. Fatman shared it with me in private months ago like all the way back in March. He doesn't want any one else to know who it is for sure because his contects want the Sony costume to be kept secret from the public at all cost.

I'll retract my assumption for now because, even though an R&C game was released on Android, they're still owned by Sony. But knowing what Fatman has said, it's really difficult to come up with another name that goes with everything else he's said.

More than likely. We know HAL is working on a big Kirby project and has been since last fall but nobody knows how far along it is. Kirby games don't usually take long to develop but, if it started last year, I imagine it won't be releasing until at least the spring.

I also wonder about this too.

They did a historical layout of Kirby but... Why? Kirby's birthday is in April and the last significant Kirby was in 2018 and was a Spring release. They also did one for DK recently and, weirdly enough, there was a Smash tournament featuring the two franchises for literally no reason.

Given how much Sak prefers to remain in the comfort zone, we know that if we get a new Kirby character, the choice is all on Nintendo.

Also, I'm glad to see that you've also noticed how oddly silent HAL has been recently. It's not too often that we go this far in the year without a Kirby game, so something big is being prepared.

Do you figure that DK and Kirby might get something?
Just so you know. It really sucks that nintendo's zigzag marketing ****ed you over. I'm confident that the big news you said are coming!
Howdy, Fatman! Would you be opposed to a quick DM? I just wanted to send something positive in your direction, and I forgot that your DMs were understandably turned off by default.
I know in this community kicking me in the face with cleats would probably rival lines at Disney World but, without any cheekiness, spoilers, winky faces, or lines of eye emojis, if you have any sort of recording equipment, you will definitely want to record your reactions because what's been going around since literally last AUGUST is that "E3" 2020 would be a legendary Direct and I think it's going to be insanely cathartic for the Nintendo community as a whole.

I know it'll be cathartic for me (regardless of who you or I think could or could not get in), because with what's been going on with "Summer of Gaming" so far, I've had my fill of not-Directs and not-E3s. I want the original general Direct, not wholesome indies, not thinly-veiled visual novel expos, not puppet shows, not VRs showing off, not weird grindhouse movies, not open-world fests, and certainly not whatever Google farted out for Stadia. I want a plain-arse, tried and true, genuine, crystal-clear, frank as Frankenstein, clean, simple, straightforward, not presented by an awards show PR person, not presented by a celebrity skater, no smoke and mirrors, unveiled, undeniable, unavoidable, "here it is!" Direct. Which I will seem to finally get at the start of next week, if increasing rumors ring true.

And I've been waiting for a 3D World port since forever.

So, anyway, rant aside, who else besides Kelios and King Zell have backed the July 20 date?
