TBH I think most Smash fans aren't gonna really be for any first parties at this point.

A good part of the fanbase is kind of in the "3rd parties or nothing" mindset ATM.

I don't have issues with a new Pokémon rep. If anything the plethora of creatures to choose from offers massive move set potential. I just, personally, don't want a SS rep because most of the new designs just irk me.
