  • I’m kinda surprised there hasn’t been a Spirit Event for Fire Emblem Heroes, even after 4 years.

    So I did it myself.

Woman who set her hair with Gorilla Glue wants to SUE the company (msn.com)

...You don't put ****ing Gorilla Glue in your hair.
If Sakurai ever died, I just KNOW there’d be people who’d be happy because he didn’t give them the character(s) they wanted or gave them they character they didn’t want.

DrCoeloCephalo DrCoeloCephalo you'd be surprised about how ****ed some people can be about that.

Saw people on Miiverse back in the day being happy about the death of Iwata over E3 2015.

What is more, how would the families of the deceased feel about hateful sentiments over a videogame-- one that the director and staff spent so many of the years of their lives working on?

@JDCabrera I remember Miiverse and I've met some nice folks there. But God, sometimes that place would be toxic as hell as I remember people spamming nudity and porn art half of the time before getting banned. I also remember a few folks there talking ** about Autistic people calling us stupid and other names which really **** me off since I'm a Autistic person with Aspergers. I'm glad Miiverse is gone forever.
You know…I wish we got a Sonic Adventure remake as our 25th anniversary Modern Sonic game instead of Forces and, you know, Sonic Team actually spent 3-4 years on development (maybe even co-developed with another studio).

    I wish forces was good.

forces actually had the potential to be an amazing game
    Janx_uwu
    Janx_uwu
They did spend 3-4 years on development. Which is a testament to how terrible Forces is. From what I've heard they spent like half the development time making the engine.
I'm kinda glad they're waiting to do an SA remake since they probably didn't have enough people at Sonic Team to get it done on time.
I just realized; Eggman could’ve used Chao for the E-Series robots in Adventure. Heck, if Cream were part of the story, that plot point could’ve been a segway (if that’s the right term) into formally introducing Cheese and Chocola as the Chao powering Gamma and Beta, respectively.
In my seemingly endless cavalcade of weird dreams, I dreamt that I was seeing an old-timey Dracula-esque film when the lights suddenly turned off and on, and then we (the audience) were being attacked by zombies. After escaping the theater, I suddenly saw the plaza outside under this siege...and then the dream stopped.
I’m starting to wonder if Smoky Progg was the first Spirit Battle Sakurai and his team worked on. Because (especially) compared to some of the more recent Spirit Battles, it strays WAY too far from the source material.

Why would he start with Smoky Progg?

Maybe because nobody cares about Smoky Progg, so if it was a bad battle no one would care.

Janx_uwu Janx_uwu I dunno. Maybe he wanted to use Mario as a test for Spirit Battles in general, and so he threw a dart on a board labeled “Spirits starting with S”. Maybe he meant to aim for “Super Mushroom” but got Smoky Progg instead.

I’m being entirely fictitious, of course.
I don't understand why Studiopolis Act 1 isn't the music that plays for Twintelle's Spirit Battle (at least, not in the base game). A movie star and a song called "Lights, Camera, Action! (Studiopolis Zone Act 1)" go together like bread and butter.
Think Sakurai could direct a Fire Emblem game if he wanted to?
I wanna see a Wha Happun video on AoC's story specifically. There has to be a reason for the marketing team lying about it being a prequel.

Just Koei Tecmo being Koei Tecmo. If you saw their various licensed games, those aren't 100% accurate adaptations either.

Also, it's exact words: a story that took place 100 years before BotW, so it's technically true. It was never said that it would be in the same timeline.

I'll bet they actually thought that everyone would love the twist that it had happy ending.

I mean it did take place before the fall of Hyrule, It is still a prequel, Just a prequel in a separate universe.
For those of you who may not know, I used to believe Sephiroth could only be an Assist Trophy due to the length of his sword (for as weird as that sounds). And needless to say, I'm happy I was proven wrong.
If I were a Phantom Thief, I would probably be a male Navi. My code name would probably be "Mole", since I'm holed up in my room on my computer a lot. My Persona would probably be "Dionysus", analyzing the positives and negatives of certain situations (battle or not). I chose that role because Dionysus was a god of wine who embodies both the positives and negatives of alcohol.
If there's any compant who ****ing loves to stroke their own ego with their commercials, it's Libery Mutual by a long shot.
I just did a CTR:NF Online match with a Blue Jay Penta in Tiny Arena and completely mauled everyone. I got 1st and kept it without really trying.
    ZoroCarlos
    ZoroCarlos
Tiny Arena is one of the trickier tracks to hold your reserves in because of the many ramps, tight curves and narrow walls that the slightest touch of can kill your reserves of. Definitely one of the few tracks with the highest skill ceilings, the difference in skill is greatly highlighted here, as you mentioned. It took me a good while to even manage to sub 3 the track in TT.

Especially in online, where if you're in the middle positions it's really hard to get yourself through because of all the missiles and bombs.
I know we talk about how we wish Decideueye or Mimikyu or Lycanroc were the Alola rep, but one Alola Mon I was thinking of is Primarina, one of my favorite starters.
Now, here's for some Japanese titles of the Classic Mode routes that I unironically think are better than their official English names

Japanese translations (Yes, some of these actually are the Japanese names.)

Man, you know the gaming industry alone suffered greatly in 2020 when Josh couldn't even fit every major thing into the list (yeah, he does get a few things wrong).
I just realized; both Sora and Tak are videogame-first characters owned by non-videogame companies, making them eleigible for Smash.
    R
    RetrogamerMax
And since Tak doesn't really have any non video game characters in his series since they first appeared in the games, he has less red tape around him than Sora does. While I've never played the Tak games, I seem to notice no one has made the Tak thread yet. Someone who is a fan of the series around here should get to it. I would make it, but I've never played the games so I don't think I'm qualified to run the thread.
Man, I feel so bad to be a fan of Sakura Shinguji. Literally everyone in RTC seems to have a hate boner for her.
    Champion of Hyrule
    Champion of Hyrule
Perkilator Perkilator Huh, so I didn’t realize Sakura was back in the RTC thread, and thought you were talking about last time when she was being rated. This time, I definitely agree that people are being way too harsh when it comes to this
    RealPokeFan11
    RealPokeFan11
TBH I wouldn't mind Sakura. Over the years on RTC, I've learned to give every character at least somewhat of a fair chance in want score. While she's unlikely and wouldn't get me super hyped, I'm still gonna play her and see if she gets added to my list of mains. The only characters I would legitimately be opposed to nowadays are characters like Freddi Fish who are from games rated eC. (Yes we rated her, and a certain somebody gave her a 100% chance score, bumping the calcs to 8% for chance among all of the double zeroes)

I genuiely wonder if people do know that Mario is also on the side of """anime""" characters because he was created in Japan and has been featured a good amount of times on animated japanese media.
