If there's people who think the Smash series is art and should end just because Ultimate left the series on a high note and don't want to risk having a Smash 6 to ruin the series after Ultimate, the Smash is not art. It's a museum. We need the Smash series to go on and on forever to showcase future games which are art. Plus who says Smash 6 wouldn't be good? Nintendo has all the money and resources needed to make Smash 6 have even more content than Ultimate had and if some 3rd parties can't come back, we can just add other characters to fill in for them.
The Geno board didn't need to close. Geno will probably be a Smash 6 newcomer.
Is Origami King better than Color Splash?
Remember that at least one major 1st party title always releases every 2-3 months. We got Age of Calamity in November and SM3DW + Bowser's Fury is coming next month.
The Ice Climber game sold less than Super Mario RPG did and Ice Climbers still got in so Geno is eligible too.
Even if Banjo doesn't a new game, his Smash inclusion is just as good as a new Banjo game.
Master Mummy needed a Mii costume. Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Ninjara, Master Mummy and Min Min are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th most important ARMS characters.
I think the fans who hate the FE characters don't hate them because they're anime, they hate them because the FE characters have serious looking faces and designs. Link, Pit and Hero are all anime too but the fans don't hate them because they have silly looking faces and designs.
If Elma was to be in Vol. 2, Xenoblade X's music is largely copyrighted so tracks like Uncontrollable would need to have instrumental remixes.
The reason the Wii was so popular is because it revolutionized gaming. Motion controls were a new thing to gaming back in the day and everyone wanted to try them.
So many Pixar films have either two protagonists or a protagonist and a very important deuteragonist. Mike & Sully, WALL-E & EVA, Woody & Buzz, Remy & Linguini, Carl & Russel, Arlo & Spot, Miguel & Hector, Ian & Barley, Marlin & Dory and now Joe & 22.
If you're currently in quarantine because you have covid, try leaving a note on your chimney asking Santa to leave your presents at the doorstep. Should Ultimate have had more brand new stages than old stages? Every Smash game has more new stages than old ones.

The eShop version of FF7 is one of the best selling eShop games. Therefore it deserved an extra rep.
Should Olaf's Frozen Adventure have been a TV special instead of being tied in with Coco? It is 22 minutes long.
Geno wouldn't work as a high quality costume. His body type is too different from Mii Gunner's body type. He's too short and too wide for a deluxe costume.
Do Geno fans know how Travis and Heihachi fans felt when their characters got deconfirmed via Mii costumes?
The 3 remaining characters could be Rex, Crash and Dante.
SE was surprisingly generous this time around.
Miraculous doesn't begin to describe FF7 getting a reasonable amount of content. SE would usually never allow this much FF7 content but Sakurai got all of the copyright holders to be OK with it.
If Geno doesn't get in into Vol. 2, then oh well there's always the next Smash game and we can't have every bandwagon character be newcomers in the same Smash game.
How many spirits do you think Sephiroth's spirit board will have? My guess is 4 or 5 but hopefully there will be more.
Would Steve fit in better if he had the same color scheme as all the other characters?
FF7 is a childhood classic for many even though FF7 wasn't made for children. The kids were probably drawn to it by its cartoony visuals though.
The Vol. 2 characters are releasing at a much faster rate than people thought, perhaps the 11th character will release before June.
Why couldn't Nintendo get ahold of Sephiroth's English voice actor?
What if we do get a Vol. 3 but it only has 4 characters?
Omnislash ver. 5. Is there a future update coming that gives Cloud a 2nd Final Smash to use when his Limit Gauge is full and he has a Smash Ball?
Bayonetta fights angels but not even she could beat Sephiroth. Sephiroth is an angel.
The waits for the Vol. 2 characters are getting shorter and shorter. The wait for Min Min was 5 months, the wait for Steve was 3½ months and the wait for Sephiroth will be 2 months.
Calling it now, the next character will release no later than Christmas Day the 25th.
If FP8 does get announced at TGA, the trailer will probably have gameplay footage. Joker's trailer didn't have any because he was so early in development. There's no excuse for a non gameplay trailer this time.
Cloud and Joker had very weak connections to Nintendo prior to debuting in the Smash series but they were still OK to include because one, FF7 was originally meant for the N64 and two, though FF7 wasn't on a Nintendo console, Cloud was still in other games on Nintendo platforms and plenty of Nintendo customers like Final Fantasy so Cloud was eligible. And for Joker, Persona Q2 was released about a week before his Smash announcement and there are Nintendo customers that like Persona so Joker was allowed too.
Mario Tennis Ultra Smash exists to be a shovelware game and yet it fails as a shovelware game. It only sold 0.54 million copies while other shovelware games sell way better than that.
This pandemic might get to be written in future school history books and future children and teens will have to write essays and take tests that are about the 2020 pandemic.
I feel very bad for the 2020 high school grads who've been dreaming of having a huge graduation ceremony like every else. This would have been such a great year if the virus never came into existence.
FE: Radiant Dawn is a great game but Ike is established 16 chapters into the 38 chapter story and he's one of the main characters. I hear that a good writing tip is to establish all of your main characters near the start of the story. Also Ike gets no screentime until 16 chapters in.
Would you buy a $20 Subspace Emisarry remake if it was a DLC expansion for Ultimate? Every level and cutscene would be remade with Ultimate's color scheme and you could even use the characters who weren't in Brawl but that would be a completion bonus for after you complete the main story.
