  • Sup Rich, long time no see. Sorry for not letting you in my room earlier. I tend to just keep to strict 1v1s and the guy i was playing was looking for matchup exp against my characters.

I've seen your replays and sent you some of my recent ones as well. If you wanna play some matches with me just ask me.

Hello Xiro, i thought i'd let you know that i did visit the FF3 thread, sadly i couldn't think of a way to start off without fear of taking my characters out of their world since it wouldn't tie right from the story their based from.
I ask for matches in the NNID/FC, i get abandoned. seems people already know me, though i don't know them.
Sent ya a few replays <3

I just recently got out of the lab and decided to try out classic mode on 9.0.
I went in with char expecting to fail, but surprisingly managed to pull through up to the fight with master core.
    Richard 89
    Richard 89
also your charizard on a 9.0 scale, good. I used bowser a while back on 9.0 the ending of it was a relief, i defeated master core when i was at 235% thanks to a strong defense shell i had equipped that had 51 defense on it.

Oye, Gonna go download the replays now <3

Bowser is next on the list to beat 9.0 with >:3
That sweet feeling when you finally land the finishing blow on mastercore... it's like a great sigh of relief~

i seen you also used three characters that you never went before, roy koopa, DK, and lucario.

Also i've been doing good, i've been keeping active and playing smash after every workout( mostly stretch and twist excersises).

    *hugz*
Okay we can play anytime, my NNID is KrazyKazuto, let me know when you want to play.

Meanwhile, playing with death in the FFA match. Your falco maaan~ <3

    Hi xiro.

    *tacklehugz*

Ahem...anyway about that replay i was reviewing it about three times. Made me wonder how i managed to last the whole match, Then i came up with the theory, my movements sorta mimic how Albert Wesker was like in RE5. So i think that i was being like wesker in a way but unexpected.
Oh! Rich I forgot to tell you, I saw your replays.

I'm glad to see that you're sticking with the same characters that you used in brawl. I esp enjoyed watching the falco and marth games.

(That sudden death ending. You too were like "Enough of this! True men fight OFFSTAGE!)

Can't wait to see more replays from you :p
Nice replays. That Charizard FFA one was good.
    Richard 89
    Richard 89
Thanks, i'm slowly getting there with charizard as an additional secondary, but your capt.falcon is what stuns me, i don't see falcons that do justice knee just after falling off stage for a critical hit and kill.
    *Hugz out of nowhere* <3

    Hi Rich :3

    Richard 89
Xiro! I was starting to wonder when i'd hear from you again.

    *hugz back*

I got your Greninja replay this morning. i see you're starting to get the hang of him since he is a speedy pokemon. I have a charizard replay all ready to be sent to you of my secondary. now i just need to get a greninja replay, and i'll be set. i'll send you some additional replays as well.

Oh, you don't need to wait to hear from me :o

I'm here whenever I'm online, so feel free to poke me whenever~

    ---

Yeeah, I've been having a lot of fun with greninja lately. His combos are so satifying to pull off, I'll probably end up making him one of my mains :p

I look forward to watching your replays <3
It's better to master the cards you're holding than to complain about the ones your opponent was dealt.

both of us miss her, i haven't seen frost, i figure he lost interest in The FF thing. i'm still waiting for him to return but i doubt he will.
    Grizzlpaw
    Grizzlpaw
Frost stops by every once in a while, but he said he was going to go on an indefinite haitus from the boards.

Everyone's growing up and moving on from smash, it's a bit sad :c
    Richard 89
    Richard 89
i still play smash for 3ds/Wii Ui don't plan on leaving for the next 3 years. That is sad, if everyone leaves there'll be less people to play against.

I have a feeling due to Iwata's death it will happen soon not tomorrow, but down the line.
GGs Rich. Had quite a lot of fun playing you again. The best part was that there was no lag this time!

Same here, That little mac of yours, down tilt too frustrating lol. I was puzzling to myself about how, then again i tried to make a comeback by thinking of other moves to use but i got read. Ggs once again.
    Metalbro
    Metalbro
haha yeah Dtilt is like LM best move. It combos into like everything. Even KO punch.
    Hiya Rich~

It's been a while since I last talked to ya
    How've you been?
    Richard 89
    Richard 89
I've been doing good, still playing a little smash every now and then along with pokemon shuffle, While taking care of myself of course. So what about you?
Hey Rich, I got your replay~

I had no idea you played Ness, he's such a good character.
I acutally noticed some things in those games, notably your use of PK Thunder 2, which is strong as a mixup, but veeeeeeeeery punishable on whiff.

As an ex-Ness main, here are a few things that might help ya out~ :p
    Grizzlpaw
    Grizzlpaw
Third, your throws. DON'T STALE BTHROW. I can't stress this enough, Bthrow is Ness's best kill throw, and you can land it out of Pk Fire. I noticed you using this at very low %'s for damage.
    Grizzlpaw
    Grizzlpaw
For a damaging throw, Dthrow is almost always better, since you can do stuff like Dthrow > Fair > Fair > Fair, which is guaranteed on a good portion of the cast. Bthrow can be good to get them offstage, but make sure you can get something out of it.
    Grizzlpaw
    Grizzlpaw
The last thing Isss... PK FIRE!

    This move... is amazing!
It starts combos, aids spacing, and sets up kills for Ness.

Learn to properly space this, and learn how to use it grounded, out of pivots, and in the Air.

If done high enough above the ground, you won't suffer landing lag, experiment with this as well.

Aaaaaand that's all! Hope these tips help you out~

    *hugs*
Heya Rich~ How ya been? I saw those replays you sent me. That EazyDI guy was pretty goo--

    *looks down*

...Oh, Looks like you two have already met~
    Richard 89
    Richard 89
*continued* I try with a follow-up dash attack. I watched the replays twice, on one of them I noticed I changed up my playstyle with frequent jumping and moving in the air and then attacking, instead of playing keep away and randomly attacking near my opponent like a shield. I realized early during the matches that no matter what strategy I try to use, this guy will read me like a book.
    Richard 89
    Richard 89
yeah, these matches told me that the games style of play is not like the one I knew. Of course I know that if I run on the ground a little away from my opponent/the opposite, especially if it's a speedy opponent, i'll be the one to get knocked into the air, of course this will depend on what character I choose, If I were to choose robin or ness and my opponent goes sonic.
    Richard 89
    Richard 89
Chances are, i'll likely be the one to lose, since my opponent me be the one skilled with the sonic. Regardless of that though, i'll follow your advice and try to stay grounded, but I may have to change it up some of the time since skill/opponent's character choice will be a huge factor
Hey, ggs! I'm glad you had fun. You were the only person I had a decent connection with. I added your friend code if you'd like to play sometime today. Mine is 3222-6042-1899.

    Richard 89
That's okay, i felt some lag on my side too, that's why i jumped on the top platform until it was gone. Yw and thank you as well, i still have a lot to work on, i watched the replays of our first encounter, looking for any mistakes i made but could hardly find any since i was playing a mix of offensive/defensive, but still i got read. I guess i have to watch for an opening carefully and not rush in.
    Happy birthday, Boo Boo Bear!

I tried to get on earlier but alas, it was still too late! And no problem. Hope you had a good one!
I've seen your Falco replay recently. Good job! That Luigi was playing sloppy. I noticed you attemtpted some reverse aireal rushes.
    Richard 89
    Richard 89
Yeah, it was some user named Jacc, kept spamming luigi's moves. I did try some reverse aerials, after that game i left, even though i know he wanted another match from me, but i didn't block him, not sure if i can run into him again soon enough.
    Metalbro
    Metalbro
Just watched both replays. I could tell those matches were pretty tough. That Lucina did a good job walling you out with her aireals and shield breakers. And that Pit was pretty smart as well. He didn't rush in too much but he got in, racked up some damage and played footsie. Try to look for opening to punish them.
