    I had a science teacher in high school who was insistent that the Canadian healthcare system was bad. He didn't have any sources or anything, he just used "but socialism" as an argument.

    There is!... A little bit of socialism! People need to stop instantly associating socialism with the USSR. Too much socialism isn’t good for a country, but in moderation can really help it

    People who say that Nintendo is planning something huge after March, when 3D All-Stars and Fire Emblem aren’t available anymore are just going to be disappointed when they’re proven wrong

    It’s always bugged me when people say Sonic has way too many moves based on Sonic the Fighters, then make an “updated” moveset where half the moves are based on Sonic Battle.

    Like, you literally JUST complained about Sonic having too many moves from a weird fighting game barely anybody knows

    If there’s one thing on this earth I hate more than anything, it’s “iceberg explained” videos that barely give any explanation for each topic on the iceberg image

    There’s one I remember which was a Sonic the Hedgehog iceberg analysis where, two topics, for example were Sonichu and the Sonic Bible.

    For Sonichu he pretty much just says “a thing a guy named chris chan made that’s a combination of sonic and pikachu and it’s a meme”
    And for the Sonic Bible he just says “an original idea for the sonic plot that was made in america”

    I understand those topics can easily fill up an entire half hour video, but the lack of any actual effort to explain things is kinda ridiculous

    I know this is probably really close-minded of me and the games are probably really good, but I really can’t see Disc Creatures and Bug Fables as anything but ripoffs. Especially Disc Creatures.

    It really isn't in the slightest. Yo-Kai Watch borrows WAY more concepts from Shin Megami Tensei (which predates Pokemon by like 9 years) than it does from Pokemon. Same for Digimon. Anyone that's played any of those games will tell you that.

    I see. My mistake too. I was basically following up with the images I posted above how Pokemon was never really original and still isn't. Frankly, I think it's kinda funny to me how Pokemon fans love to claim another game is a ripoff so easily but when Pokemon's originality is called into question, they can give it but can't take it.

    DDR Mario Mix has such an amazing variety of Mario music tracks, it’s honestly quite surprising

    One one I saw my little cousin playing some weird Halloween-themed RPG game on their Xbox. All I remembered from seeing them was that it had a cel-shaded artstyle, and the game actually kind of looked pretty good.

    That day I never learned what it was called, so I thought that game would be my moby ****. I’d spend years of my life in pursuit of this game. I’d chase the title of this game so that maybe, just maybe I’d be able to play it one day...

    ... two seconds of googling and I find it’s called costume quest 2... Well that was anticlimactic

    Humor is subjective. Scream cutoffs and simple, fast paced animation seems to appeal to alot of people and there's nothing wrong with that. I don't particularly like his stuff either.

    I personally find Montage to be more or less entertaining. There are some better ones than others. The Kirby ones are my faves while some others like Yoshi's Island never really clicked. I find the same thing with SMG4.

    I absolutely hate thinking about what Smash 6 is gonna be like. It’s at the point where I kind of want Ultimate to be the last Smash game for at least 15 years, except for maybe a spin-off or two before Smash 6

    I wouldn't mind a Smash spinoff as a 3D arena fighter. I quite like those games. I just hope it wouldn't be a mainline series title.

    I think they could just secretly port Ultimate when making Smash 6 and tweak the modes and add wanted characters so this "b-but muh favorite character's gonna be removed" thing will be solved

    The amount of people who will immediately call someone spoiled and toxic just for being disappointed at a certain character is way too high.
    Especially if they ignore any reasons the person may have for being disappointed. If it’s a flawed reason which makes no sense, then yes they are spoiled and toxic, but if it’s just their opinion, no theyre probably not

    As a kid my daycare has always had this weird nostalgic smell I haven’t smelled other places... Recently I realized that smell was a combination of food burning and cigarettes... and I don’t know how to feel about that...

    (In case you’re wondering how I found out, it wasn’t any event in particular, I just remembered what the smell was like and realized what that meant)

    If they added Waluigi and made his series logo the one from the Mario games instead of Wario’s series logo it might look slightly weird and inconsistent. But if the Smash team really cared about their game looking weird and inconsistent we wouldn’t have so many FE characters and three Link’s

    But then that would suggest he's from a series. For Mario the M makes sense, same for Wario and Yoshi since they spun off of Mario into their own series. If you gave Waluigi the upside down L I think a lot of people would jump to the conclusion that he's getting his own game. Though Bowser, Bowser Jr, and Plant have a different victory theme and the same logo, so the Waluigi Pinball music could still happen.

    Actually now that I think about it, since he's exclusively from Mario spinoffs, maybe he could have the Mario Party dice block or a tennis racket for his logo. That would be pretty cool I think.

    Honestly, I think it would be better to see Waluigi become a Warioware/Land cast member instead of appearing in the mainline Mario games. To me, Waluigi will also be associated with Wario so in my mind already, Waluigi is and should be a Wario character.

    I don’t get why people are theorizing that there aren’t any original Minecraft game tracks in Smash due to copyright. Sakurai already gave us a perfectly good reason for their absence and it dosent make much sense to think that he would just lie to us. Besides, why would there even be any copyright issues if Steve’s already in the game?

    Apparently there's something going on with all kinds of character categories on Google Search. "Sonic characters" gets you Alex Kidd, Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Sonic the Hedgehog. And of course, the aforementioned "Boss".

    It's not a conspiracy or anything, just poor coding.

    At one point a search for "EarthBound characters" would get you Gothel from Tangled. Because she's often called "Mother Gothel", Google sees the association between the words "Gothel" and "Mother", therefore making it class her as an EarthBound character.

    Imagine the pancake C4.

    The US created a special mix in WW2 that could be mixed in with normal flour, and create pancakes with. Even was edible and would just give the person eating it a stomach ache at worst. They used it to smuggle the explosives over in unassuming bags of pancake mix behind japanese enemy lines. When allied forces got it they could indeed rig it up as a proper C4 explosive.

    Nintendo literally never mentions Kirby’s Avalanche and Sega on the other hand is basically always rereleasing and agnowledging Mean Bean Machine. Just goes to show the difference between the two companies
