What reasons are there for hating it?

I kinda got sick of PoGo a while ago, mainly due to constantly struggling to update my game thanks to my ****ty ass phone storage. I might revisit it at some point. My friend and I used to play it religiously every day, but he also got tired of it. I heard Mega Evolution was implemented horribly though.

Pokelego999 Pokelego999 It is incredibly shallow even for a game series as shallow as Pokemon, its combat power system is similar to Rumble where your Pokemon only get so strong before they become weak and disposable which I dislike in favor of actual levelling and you would think Pokemon fans would dislike that system as well, it didn't have half the features it said it would until years later and even after so, you can't trade with long distance friends anyway, it suffers from the same issues main series games do of having the same lifeless models with unimpressive animations and I absolutely cannot stand the art style of the human characters as they strike me as something from a Chinese Overwatch bootleg.

Doesn't Pokemon Go get so boring after a while? That's why it sucks lol

I've been thoroughly entertained by this game with all the frequent updates the past 4 years. It's impossible to get bored with all the new stuff shoved in. Pokemon Go is at one of it's highest peaks since 2016 right now.

It's hard to look at it as new stuff when most of it is Pokemon that already existed for years or were features that it was advertised to have from the beginning and should have been in the base game anyway.

Yeah, but everything in the trailer has been added since like, 2018. Agreed though that they were late on it, but it's hardly something to insult a game on 2 years later.

It kinda is because if it had those features from the get-go, it would've retained more of my attention more immediately instead of waiting so long by the time I'd found way better games worth my play time that already meet or surpass it in terms of content.

Yo-Kai Watch World had the 752+ monsters that existed in main games right out the gate of its initial release and its only gotten bigger since then as more updates with entirely new and never before seen monsters were added on top of retaining far more faithfulness to the depth of main series games and Yo-Kai not being treated as fodder as much. Pokemon Go had to wait 2 years before coming even close to that and still has to put up with its shallow battles and monsters eventually becoming expendable trash. If I could play that reliably, I would.

I thought Yo-Kai Watch died like 5 years ago

I played Yo-Kai Watch 1 and 2. Definitely underrated games that I would highly recommend.
