RealPokeFan11 Nope. Gen 6 used the same calculation for Hidden Power as Gen 3-Gen 5. Making a Fairy Type Hidden Power impossible despite Gen 6 making it so that Hidden Power always has a base power of 60.

And for some reason, they never updated that in Gen 7 despite making it so that Hidden Power is always considered a Normal Type move for Z Moves.

Funnily enough, Gen 8 has the best excuse for this since Hidden Power is one of the moves that got cut due to the Pokemon Company making Game Freak rush the game.

They cut so many iconic moves....

I understand some of the cuts (usually useless moves for early game), but cutting Hidden Power along with Return confused me and somewhat pissed me off

Shouldn't Return have come back stating Lopunny learns it upon evolution?

And this is why rushing is never a good idea. Honestly speaking, props to Gamefreak for including as many improvements to the formula as they did despite the rush the Pokemon Company forced upon them.

Why are terrible skillset limitations like movepools even a thing to begin with?

Well I feel having your bird you found in the morning being capable of using Judgment or Precipice Blades really makes no logical sense.

Being able to stuff giant rhino monsters made out of rocks into tiny plastic painted balls that people sell at your local pharmacy really makes no logical sense.
Signature moves remaining exclusive is fine but there's no reason why Pokemon like Poliwrath whose PokeDex entries make it clear that it's a talented swimmer can't learn Aqua Jet or even Mach Punch so it's not just an inferior Belly Drum user to Azumarill or just an inferior Water attacker overall to Crawdaunt or even Kingler of all things.
