The fangame/ROM thing is one of the many things I don’t get about Nintendo. It’s a fan...who loves your characters...using their talents to make something...that they aren’t profiting off of...and it doesn’t affect you-at least, not in any way that would matter.

”that they aren’t profiting off of” Wrong. There’s only one exception to the fact that every fan-game Nintendo has taken down has deliberately tried to make money off of Nintendo’s IP’s.
