Yeah, I didn't really like Thriller Bark that much but it was better than Skypia though. Like you said the fights dragged on too long. Brook joining the crew and Binks Sake was very memorable, but I don't think that alone saves the Thriller Bark from being good. Overall it's a decent arc. I would recommend checking some scenes out in this arc again when you catch up as there was some things in Thriller Bark that was foreshadowing Kaido and Wano.

Next arc is Sabaody and boi this is when things really start going down. You're about to get on a wild ride.

Lol! I don't know if you remember what Kaido's silhouette looked like when Garp was mentioning the Emperors, but his final design looks nothing like he did in the silhouette.

Thriller Bark is probably the most "You either really like it or you don't" arc in all of One Piece. I honestly really like Thriller Bark since it has some really good gags (Tactics 15: Big Emperor, Luffy shoving the zombie back into the ground) and because I have a soft spot for horror themes. Moria is an alright villain, goes without saying that he's probably the weakest warlord by a good margin. On the other hand this arc has Absalom who is one of my least favorite characters (wait till Sabaody for the most hated one)

You're just starting the Kuma fight? Without spoiling anything, there's some VERY good stuff coming up during and after that, probably some of the best moments in the whole series, keep watching.

Also uhhh, if dragged fights worry you, you're going to hate Dressrosa lol so be ready.

Speaking of Dressrosa, how the hell a arc that lasted for 3 years in our world was only one day in the story? Like, that doesn't make almost any sense.

Hell, Dressrosa wasn't even a day it was more like a afternoon lol!

PLOT SPOILERS:
It lasts at most just a couple of hours, considering Law and Doffy were going to have the Caesar exchange at 3 PM, and from that point it's when the plot really starts, and when it's all done it doesn't even look like the sun is setting or the sky is getting darker.

I still like Dressrosa, it's a cool arc

I totally forgot about the Caesar exchange taking place at said time. But holy **** two freaking hours. I really wouldn't spoil the details for Sari though since he hasn't gotten there yet.

ZoroCarlos Yeah I couldn't stand Absalom since he kept perving Nami. I also hated Hogback with how he treated Cindry though I found his backstory hilarious since he had like no redeeming qualities at all. I'm guessing your most hated character is the Celestial Dragon person that Luffy punches. That is one of the main things I know that happens in Marineford (along with "you know what" at the end of the arc). If not him then probably Akainu.

R RetrogamerMax Damn that is crazy. Reminds me of how Dragon Ball's 35 episode Tournament of Power arc took place within 48 minutes. I hear Dressrosa is the longest arc in the series so I can only imagine what type of stuff will unfold there.

Actually, there is someone as bad as the Celestial Dragons and even more annoying and hated than Spandam in the current arc. I won't say who though.

So ZoroCarlos, how much longer do you think the Wano Arc will last? I'm expecting it to surpass Dressrosa as the longest arc when it's over as the main fights haven't even started yet and it's already 2 years in. This is definitely when we will see a Emperor fall to the hands of the Strawhats.

Wano is probably going to end up being the longest arc honestly, from the looks of it. It's barely half way done.
