  • I'll absolutely never understand people who do cool plays and forget to save it. I save EVERYTHING.
People seem to look at me strange when I'm very serious when I play. It's not that I'm not open to be sociable, but I just also like to play seriously most of the time. I really want to get better, so I don't see what's so strange about it.

I heard a saying that says, "you can only fight the way you train". If you aren't serious when you're practicing in "friendlies", then when?
When everything flows with Banjo he's like wow holy **** why did I ever stop using this character
I love how my best tournament placements were against the hardest people and my worst are absolutely nothing close to that.
Miis are so boring to even look at. They feel like one of those custom made Mugen characters, and not of the good ones.

It depends which Mii you're looking at really.

also, good MUGEN characters exist? you learn something new every day.

I feel like Mii's are underused on the Switch. I just want my Tomodachi Life and Nintendo Land sequel.
There's absolutely zero reason "avatar" changed to "pfp" unless you're either afraid James Cameron would sue you or you're literally so lazy you can't even spell "avatar" anymore.
I love having to think 180mph to play well while everyone else has a consistent "normal" level.

No, it's okay...I sometimes have to do this when I face a Lv. 3 CPU.

I *legimately* wonder what floats around people's heads when they get combo'd into things that had no idea even existed, with my Zelda.

If you're centered on gaining GSP as a sort of meassuring stick, you're not interested in improving.

GSP is the dark side of Smash. Enter it you must not.

I dooped as low as 2m yesterday and now I'm back atm+. I'm not as invested that I'd risk potentially learning different stuff in stead of milking a win on bad online habits.

These are comments from a rant and I split them up so they don’t take too much space

This game and Smash 4 are so balanced in comparison that people have no reason to complain about anything unless they main Little Mac. There's a big portion of the fanbase that came from Smash 4, and they have no idea what actual disadvantage feels like. -1 is already a "hard counter" to these people. I've mained Bowser in Brawl and -2 was absolutely normal for me.
Quickplay is either a surprisingly valuable tool or absolutely toxic, degrading and self-destructive.

You have to go in with the right mindset. If you just want to tune out and play for the sake of it, you're in for a world of dissappointment (especially if you're actually trying to improve). It's like going to the gym. You don't go in and wing it without a strategy plan. You have to set a plan and goals to achieve.
Why the **** do people keep leaving on for glory? I'm not an annoying, spammy player and neither do I have intolerable lag. If anything, I do awesome mixups and reads most Zeldas aren't doing, and I never even camp or use Phantom. And even if I do lose, it's like by a bit after a good match.

So I don't get it. I really don't. There's no excuse like "oh they just went to get the door".
I think I'm the only crazy **** that punishes roll behind/spotdodge towards the ledge with Teleport.
Zelda is fair and balanced until she 0-deaths you off of basically a Dair and a tech chase.
Went 2-2 in bracket. Pretty bad. On the flipside, I feel surprisingly well. The 2nd best actually asked for friendlies, and I appreciated it. I thought he understimated me, heavily.
Why is there a wave of ****ty Joker players in Quickplay and why do they all play the EXACT same way???
I highly contemplate to the idea of renouncing to real relationships. :D

To make it short, my social skills ain't good and I'm not interested in relationships like that. Besides, it's tough enough to pay my rent as it is.

I just think you have to be committed if you want to be in a relationship. I don’t think most people are...
Just because you want to be one of the best players in the world doesn't mean you strive for making a living out of it. I sincerely believe Smash can be "just" a hobby. You don't have to play 10 hours a day to be one of the best, let alone get better.
I dislike how some guys (it's usually guys) that draw anime girls with big-ish breasts but from the waist down they look like 12. If they have the boobs of a 20+ year old, you're expecting me to believe their lower body absolutely lacks shape?

It's like they've never seen a real woman.

There's actually a psychological reason for this involving the id, ego, and superego. (cuz psychology class this semester has made me see just how disturbing we all are as humans, yay). It's an extremely long post so I'd only post it if you want to hear it.

    Quickplay Joker Starter Pack:

    - Bullet Rain (the hold-B jump non-double Jump version)
    - Side B > Dash Attack
    - D-Smash. Literally, just D-Smash.

    Me, Zelda: pivot grab
I was testing out the strongest Uairs, and I don't think anyone beat Zelda's. Charizard's tied, and Ivysaur's is only 1% weaker (but massively better). I was afraid that Palutena's would've been stronger, but it's actually 20% weaker... wouldn't have expected that. Even Ike, Bowser & DK have weaker Uairs.
I barely even watch anime, and it's only been two days and I'm about to watch The Promised Neverland a second time.
I have an aversion towards the phrase, "for fun". I just dislike taking away the responsibility from trying to win with that one phrase. You know what's fun? Winning. Or at the very least, trying to win. Trying.
I hate it when Zelda doesn't kill at 60. :D
