Well...good for you then.

I used to have a dog, but then she died two years ago. I remember how I used to bring her to our pet blessing back in fourth grade. However, owning a dog is also quite a hassle if you're not having enough responsibility. Just ask me.

I'm sorry for your loss Lesley. We all know what its like to lose a dog. They're not just pets, they're family. I can relate as with many other people as I lost my previous dog 7 years ago and still deeply miss her. She did have a long good life though up to almost 14 years.

My dog lived a good lifetime.

Interesting story: my dad used to get a stray dog and haved her live at our house. Couple months later, the dog's original owners called us and asked for us to return her to them. We did, though my mom was quite saddened. Mom's a dog lover, and unfortunately she didn;t pass on that trait to me.

Mom blamed my irresponsibility and negligence for my old dog's death, largely because I was busy studying at senior high, and being a grade-conscious brat, I barely gave time to her. I told her that if I'm not capable of owning a dog, then we shouldn;t have one.

Up to this day, we don't have a house pet.
