I got 3 stocked by a guy I can absolutely beat (and have). That's how bad I play half the time.

That sounds like it might be more of a mindset thing, if you're getting beat by guys you should be beating. Higher level Ultimate is still played relatively slow. If you watch top level versus online or mid level, the matches are much slower. I think you'll have to try to rid yourself of unnecessary baggage, like feeling like you need to take home results, and just focus on playing the game. Basically, not be concerned about winning while still trying to win. Like at home, you don't really care about whether you win all that much, even if you are still trying to win, because you don't really lose anything. But there's this sense of loss at a tournament, because you only have one retry. You just need to remember that there will be plenty more tournaments in the future, so you don't need to worry about the current one all that much. It's not like it's Evo or something.

I was going to go in with the mindset I just wanted to experiment this last weekly, but it seems that went out the window. Played the same as usual, because of it. When you're scared to lose, you do stuff like that. I honestly just need to go in and try to parry stuff and play like I usually do. I was parrying like half the attacks in one of the friendlies, but apparently I forgot to do that.
