  • I honest to god find it hard to believe flamingos are real - like, they look like Pokemon - the balancing act, the colours, the way their necks form a heart - they just can't be real, it has to be some hyper-elaborate hoax.
so, is the Dora movie any good? it's got pretty good reviews, but so did Good Boys so I'm not sure what to think.

not seen it, but I am absolutely disappointed by Diego.

I led a campaign before release demanding that my favorite character, Benny the Cow, would be included in some capacity.
    Don't let me down, Paramount

    SPOILERS:

I watched some clips, he appears as a silent cameo in a hallucination scene, alongside my personal favourite, the Grumpy Old Troll Who Lives Under The Bridge
so, is "hangry" a misspelling in the trailer or the actual name of the form?
Is it just me, or do a lot of instrumental jingles have notes that match up with the syllables of their brand name or slogan?
Seriously through, I haven't seen a single negative comment about Hero's inclusion - some indifferent, but none negative. the "Rakes" Mad meme makes no sense.

There were a few out there, but it got drowned out heavily by most people's interest. Finding anything negative about that is difficult, though.

The only surefire one is the usual "JRPG swordsman makes bandwagoners buttmad", though that clearly stops nothing at this stage anyways.
If I was making a fighting game with new characters, I would include a "sex appeal" character, but intentionally make their dialogue come off as unlikable and jerky (not in the cool "Disney villain" way mind you, more a... words I'd rather not say way.) and weak fighter overall just as a social experiment to see if people actually care about the personality or fighting ability of "sex appeal" characters.
As a Mario fan who's been getting into Crash lately, it pleasantly surprises me how many main series appearances Nitros Oxide has had (which is two minuscule cameos keep in mind) - the Crash series treats its' spin-off characters way better than Mario.
Despite having no nostalgic connection, I love PS1 graphics.

Graphics are fine, but the controls just SUCK! (or at least Tomb Raider) it looks like it was made to have a joy stick controller but you can't use the joysticks.

Do you like Gamecube and/or N64?

    both.
I'm such a Mole Mania fan that if I created a really popular video game character who tops the Smash polls and Sakurai wanted them in Smash I'd probably tell him "please put in Muddy Mole instead"
A lot of gaming news YouTubers have a really hard time distinguishing publishers from developers. seems like pretty essential info if you want to make video game content if you ask me, but a lot of people don't get it right.
Activision never promised not to add microtransactions to CTR, it was Beenox (the developers) who promised. microtransactions were most likely a circumstance out of Beenox's control, just like Toys for Bob with off-disc/off-cartridge Spyro content - plus there's no proof towards or against the in-game Wumpa Coin count being decreased so we really shouldn't jump to conclusions.
Stop Motion > 2D Animation = Live Action with Puppetry > 3D Animation >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Live Action without Puppetry.
the CTR babies are way more adorable than the Mario Kart babies - mostly because they didn't shy away from making the CTR babies "ugly" like real babies instead of the cutesy Sanrio-esqe MK babies.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Wario and Duck Hunt are the only characters who can taunt while attacking (not having an attack taunt mind you, but the ability to taunt while using a specific move) - which fits both characters perfectly.
I got Giga Wrecker Alt and I'm not enjoying it at all. maybe I was expecting too much given its surface level similarities with Drill Dozer, or maybe it's just that I didn't realise it was a Metroidvania when purchasing. either way, not a fan.
I main low tiers because I don't want to win - I want to have fun.

it's strange how foreign a concept that is to some people.
I wish Sega would make more merchandise with the Greg Martin classic design. it would've been really cool if Mania let you pick between Sega Classic, Toei/Heese and Greg Martin Sonic actually.
How did Cel Damage, a game with a character literally called "Dominique Trix", get a 7+ while Ultimate gets a 12+?

Beats me, CTR had to tone down the clothing for some of the trophy girls for the remake despite being DLC. Had CD2 happened, Dominique would have shown even MORE skin.
I've got £100 early for my birthday - spent £50 from it to get Giga Wrecker Alt, Freedom Planet, Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Cel Damage HD. I'll probably get some t-shirts with the remaining £50
I've made this joke elsewhere before, but I'll say it again: chickens are basically the Teen Titans Go equivalent to dinosaurs.
AnimationRewind and Rewind Rumble are channels I have really mixed thoughts on. the memes are awful, the battles are poorly researched ("Sonic can't go the speed of sound because his games wouldn't be fun", anyone?), the battles are often mismatches and the animation is a mixed bag (normally bad but occasionally something amazing on Death Battle's quality) but at the same time I really appreciate the passion behind the channels and find the less professional battles to have somewhat of a homemade charm.
I went on a backwards loop rollercoaster ride over the week and my body basically clicked like a stapler - I'm OK but I got a bit of back pains. it was Pleasure Beach in Blackpool - the Wallace and Gromit ride was amazing through and I brought myself a Feathers McGraw plush.
"Spin-offs can never surpass the original in popularity"

let's think here: Super Mario Bros. (Donkey Kong spin-off); Sonic the Hedgehog (Flicky spin-off); The Simpsons (Tracey Ullman Show spin-off); Shaun the Sheep (Wallace and Gromit spin-off); Pinky and the Brain (Animaniacs spin-off); The Muppet Show (Sam and Friends spin-off); pretty much everything from Oh Yeah Cartoons, What a Cartoon, Random! Cartoons, e.t.c.; Family Matters (Perfect Strangers spin-off) - I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of.

The Cleveland Show is among the select few that fail to even do that.

I'm just sayin'. Listing everything that's more popular than the original would probably take all day, whereas the failures would presumably be easier to list. :p
