  • Sorry I haven't come around here so long. I was busy with lots and lots of stuff.

I have a very unpopular opinion most of you are not going to like.

First of all, I'm probably on a vocal minority of this, but I really don't like playing Smash Ultimate with an original GameCube controller. Why, well one, my hands get all slimy when using it for too long, even when I'm playing my GameCube with a game that's NOT Smash loaded. Lastly, the controller layout and design. The buttons are awkwardly arranged, with Y above A and X to the right of A, plus the buttons are loose when pushed down, which makes buffering a pain. This also plays a role in the trigger buttons. There's only 3 trigger buttons, which makes me claustrophobic with this controller. Also, the L and R buttons are analog buttons, and I'm not a fan of analog buttons when it comes to fighting games. Also, the Control Stick and C Stick feel weird when doing air attacks, especially since I set the back right trigger button as jump. It applies with how the controller feels in my hands. And the D-Pad is tiny AF.

Truth be told, I'm more comfortable with a Switch Pro Controller, or the PowerA GameCube Controller (the third party Pro Controller that is designed to look like a GameCube controller).

This is most likely due to how freakishly BIG my hands are. But I digress.

To me, the Mad Catz one works best. It has nice grips, clicky buttons and stronger vibration feedback.
I can't wait to raid one of LTG's streams and kick his @$$...HEE HEE! It's only a matter of time now...
Funny story. I went online with Inkling, and my GSP for the character after winning JUST ONE MATCH shot up to over 2,000,000. Now my total GSP is over 3,000,000.

Now if I could only just reach Elite Smash...
Apparently, I cannot do rant threads. So, I’ll say it here. It bugs me when I lose online. Makes me want to go through the Internet to reach the winning player’s house so I can scream “Why you little!” and strangle him.

Okay, I need to chill. My Autism is getting out of control.

Just sit around....relax.....then you may strangle him.
Ultimate is the only smash game I'll play competitively. I would learn Melee, but the community is toxic and it's so much stuff to learn, Brawl has tripping, and Smash 4 I was too late too. So I finally can shine in Ultimate since it's REALLY balanced unlike all the others (pun intended). The only other Smash game I'd probably play competitively is Smash 64.
Last night, I opened an arena, and a Falco main challenged me, but when he found out I was playing as Inkling, he gave up by going off-screen. I guess I was dealing with a wuss that’s afraid of Inklings.

And if anyone sees any Inkling hate comments on Twitter, Discord, or whatever, post them here so I can roast them.

Funnily enough, I started playing Inkling today for fun. People who suicide off the map need to git gud.

I think the one time someone suicide map was when I was battling someone with items that only had Special Flag on high for some reason. I managed to get the most flags while making him not get any and he just suicide off the map XD

RealPokeFan11 RealPokeFan11 I Excuse me, but I wouldn’t tell them to git gud. Nor would I say “Just SDI!”. It’s only going to piss them off more. I would give them more friendly and detailed advice than just telling them to SDI or git gud. I’m not one of those Smash players.

I’m a rare kind of smash player that respects Sakurai’s decisions for his development of games and what characters he puts in Smash, and I also respect both sides of the Smash community (casual and competitive) as well the community for all the Smash games, with the exception of the Melee community. They drive me nuts. But I’m not cross with Leffen, Mew2King, or Mango (even if the latter has his troubles).
