  • Nintendo is nowhere near as bad to fan projects as people say they are. with the exception of Pixelmon and Mario Bros. X, which both had concepts similar to games they were about to announce at the time, they've only taken down projects that are funded/monetised by ads or crowdfunding; and/or are remakes. not justifying this action in the case of the prior, but it's probably safe to make a fangame as long as it's not a remake or Patreon-funded.
so, the Little Einsteins sing in their theme song that they're "going on a trip in [their] favourite rocket ship", let's place an emphasis on "favourite", which implies they have multiple. their rocket ship is sentient and even has a grandmother (at least according to the Little Einsteins Wikia) - does that mean the Little Einsteins are neglectful towards their other rocket ships? it's Nora Wakeman all over again!

yes, I know I'm overthinking things. overthinking things is fun.
Honestly, Waluigi should've been the pro(?)tagonist of WarioWare. Wario already had his own games at the time and Waluigi would fit perfectly into WarioWare's wacky world. that being said, if that happened would Waluigi get in Smash before Wario? would we be petitioning for Wario in Ultimate? would "WAH" and "Waluigi Time!" memes be replaced with "have a rotten day!" and "so, ein mist!" memes? I mean, it'd get rid of the obnoxious "Ware vs. Land" argument so at least there's that.
fun fact: only 79% of the world has not watched Crazy Frog - Axel F on YouTube

guess I'm 79% since I have never heard of it.

I got the views of the YouTube video and calculated it against the population of the world. if we're accounting for TV showings and such, it'd probably be a MUCH higher amount.

also, you've never heard of the Crazy Frog? it was like a proto-meme if that makes sense. early 2000's music video of a 3D animated frog riding an invisible motorcycle while making "ding ding" noises. hugely popular and rather controversial because 1. in the original version of the music video his tiny dong was on display, and 2. the company that distributed the associated ringtone had some rather scummy practices.

not a meme expert so that's why I probably never heard of it
after joking about Yo Noid on a thread about Capcom characters, I decided to make a stage based on it's first level: 87GCK7TJ

also, there's a ton of Noid Miis and each and every one of them is cursed in it's own unique way

I'm gonna check it out for the memes. Hopefully it's playable.

Update: pretty cool stage. Just downloaded it and sent a friend request
putting your entire post in bold won't make me notice your post. if anything, it'll make it look like a big wall of text and make me want to ignore it.
I really hope Jill Valentine isn't in Smash. a horror game rep? sure! an RE rep? sure! a character with the same name as a character I want who's already at a 2% chance at best? no way.
I honest to god tear up when I think about the duck trying to save the dog in World of Light. might be a little biased since DHD was my most wanted Smash newcomer prior to his addition and as such a character I have somewhat of an emotional connection to, but the idea that the duck leaves past mistakes behind to try and save his enemy-turned-friend in a time of need... it's genuinely beautiful.
I've got all 4 Labo spirits. Toy-Con Car was probably the hardest. once I figured out you're supposed to KO the small Mii and not the big one in Toy-Con Robot it was easy. VR Goggles took a bit of time but wasn't that hard. Plaise, Lerna and Gerry were hilariously easy.

I knew that but I forgot, sorry. I frequent a website where that isn't possible due to automatic embeds.
    ~?~
    ~?~
Automatic embeds can also be timestamped in BB, HTML, CS etc.

no, on the site I use as soon as you copy and paste the link, the embed shows up in the edit box.
Technically, Peter Griffin is actually Sans Undertale - "sans" means "without" and Peter has nothing to do with Undertale - therefore: Sans Undertale.
I never got Nazi punching. like do you seriously believe you can change someone's world-view just by punching them in the face?

It's funny because the people who do Nazi punching are also Nazis lmao

No one's trying to change a Nazi's world view. We're just showing them that they're not welcome here. Thus, a good, hearty punch in the face.
One idea I had for a custom stage was an active volcano where fighters fight atop the smoke emitted from it and avoid the lava, but I couldn't figure out how to make it.
who would your choice for a second Atlus rep be? mine would be Willy from Rockin' Kats.
5 reasons why Jill from Drill Dozer is a more badass Nintendo heroine than Samus:

    1. she's a vigilante thief
    2. she takes the role of boss to a gang at the age of 8. (OK, her age is actually never specified, but she looks somewhere between 8 and 11)
    3. she fights the police, who also use giant deadly robots.
    4. she's a wanted criminal and doesn't even hide her face in public or when thieving
    5. she isn't a narcissist and doesn't drive around a giant spaceship with her face on it.
it's kinda weird that they're even legally allowed to put characters like Bayonetta and Snake in Smash. with many governments' heavily wrong and fallacious "violent video games cause violence" philosophy it's strange to think they'd allow M rated games to be connected directly to E10+ rated games. not complaining through!

As long as there is no blood, it's okay! Showing skin is what they're taking issue with, and even then it's pretty inconsistent as to who gets to show off what parts of the body. And occasionally censoring skintight butt cracks, weirdly enough.
remember back in the late 2000's when people thought Scrooge McDuck was a "legendary video game character" despite only appearing in 2 good games (NES DuckTales and it's sequel) and not even being made for a video game?
"so... is Persona the one where they shoot themselves or the one with the bear that's half black and half white?" - me before Joker's reveal, prior to doing the bare minimum of research.
Why is the cat in Toy Story 4 so realistic. like, is this what creepypastas are talking about when they say "hyper-realistic"?

The cat's eyes ain't bleeding yet. Fingers crossed though.
In all seriousness, they're acting like mutilating toys is this new concept for the series. Like did everyone forget Sid exists or...
I feel sorry for Christine Weston Chandler - in fact, you could call me a CWC apologist - but that being said, I can't help that the idea she thought Surfshack Tito was the real Tito from Rocket Power speaking directly to her is hilarious to me.
    KirbyWorshipper2465
    KirbyWorshipper2465
Makes me wonder how she even continues to have livelihood. It takes a special kind of lucky to basically lose everything (including a gender) and still live. At this point, insulting CWC is like kicking a dumb puppy.

First time I hear about her.

    Was she a Smashboards user?
    OnyanRings
    OnyanRings
No, she's best known to be one of inernet's biggest "lolcow" (And also the creator of the infamous Sonichu)

Just search Christian Weston Chandler if you really wanna know more, though some of the stuff that happened to her is pretty messed up.
My greatest physical skill: speaking in such a way that it sounds like I'm in a YouTube Poop. don't believe me? vocaroo.com/i/s0HPx4aSfz6Y

also voice reveal kinda. my British accent isn't as noticeable to myself when I speak as it is when recorded
maybe it's just that most of my friends are Nintendo fans and I only care about the PS1 and 2, but I didn't even realise the PS5 was announced until a few hours ago.
Marble Zone should seriously return in a future Classic Sonic game. one of the most underrated levels in gaming history, let alone Sonic.
Lucy Fleetfoot would make a good human Pokemon rep. she could run around, attacking mostly with kicks and the Link Beamer, while getting help from her Aipom and Manectric for her grabs

    I would prefer Looker, tbh.
I really dislike Morgana's design - I'm not sure if it's the enormous eyes or the lack of a nose on a cat - he just annoys me to look at.
