The statement above is the truth ^. Small bodies are the only decent matchup. Every other matchup Jokers are pretty carried.

I like to use Meta Knight because he is small, very agile, has 6 jumps, and can kill opponents fast if you can edge guard. Plus, he can juke a lot of Joker's attacks with teleport and then punish him.

I play Metaknight as a pocket. ~?~ throws his boomerang behind him and comes in from the front so I can't ever get in on his Link even with cape lol.

It just takes a lot of practice. At first I was a noob at using the cape but after a lot of practice, I was able to intercept my opponent while they were attacking (usually with a special). It is easier to use this method when your opponent is using an attack that causes them to move, when they are charging a Smash Attack, or when they slip up on an attack and they are left vulnerable. The cape is a very good punisher.
