I’m actually doing some other things related to my snes right now. I mentioned the other day I found my original cartridges, I’m taking each apart and cleaning them, it’s frustratingly hard to get sharpie off of plastic...windex is my go-to, but still.

As for the circuit boards themselves, cleaning the pins with alcohol.

So yeah. Make no mistake I’m gonna start a new file, but right now cleaning my original games is kinda the priority.

It’s both relaxing but also kinda exciting, seeing games I haven’t touched in years, opening em up and making em look almost new.

...It’s also interesting (though a bit disgusting as well if ya think about it) to know all that dirt and grime was from me as a kid. All that corrosion on the pins by my breath as a kid believing with absolute certainty that blowing in the cartridges helped.

That's awesome. I like hearing people's stories about blowing the dust and dirt off of the SNES cartridges. Hopefully they will be good as new :) And let me know when you start your file of SMRPG!
