I constantly switch between Sweetie and Apple Bloom. Can't decide which of the two I like more.

Diamond is also up there. The little prissy princess is just too adorable.

By any chance, do you plan on going to BronyCon next year?

And Apple Bloom is my favorite Crusader.

I don't have any plans on attending BronyCon, no.
I did go a few years back so, there's that.

Well, you may want to reconsider. Next year's their last and they want to make it the biggest party they can get. It's gonna be four days.
Just a thought. I'm going to see my friends one last time and to say goodbye to an unforgettable part of my life.

Yeeeeah I figured something like this would happen at some point.
I'll probably go if I have nothing going on during that time.

I kind of saw it coming. They had a little skit at closing ceremonies of the mascot characters preparing to go their separate ways in 2019. I thought "Ok, they're either replacing the mascots or it's the end." Then they announced the dates like usual, and dropped the bombshell of a four-day con! And then there was that legendary word... "but..." and that was when I knew.

I'll admit, as a longtime fan of the show, three-time attendee, and someone who's made some of his best friends from this fandom... I cried.

While I'm not actually upset over it, seeing events like this discontinue feels... baffling for lack of a better term. It's like if they say we'd no longer have any Olympic Games.

Obviously those two aren't comparable but you get what I mean.

I mean, for me the show means a lot more than to some others. It helped me change my life, lame as it sounds. I used to be an asshole who cared for no one but himself. The show helped teach me lessons I never really learned as a kid, and for the first time in a long time, I actually made friends. And yeah, the show's far from my favorite, and my time in the fandom hasn't been the best... but the show, and the sense of love and acceptance I feel when I go to BronyCon, will always hold a special place in my heart.

I was already taught those lessons by the time I discovered the show, but I still do admire the show and its characters. It's not exactly my favorite either, there's a few other shows I like more.

I acknowledge that you have a lot more history with the series than I do though.

Obviously, I'm not trying to brag or anything. I just feel it necessary to explain why I've been so heartbroken over the con ending specifically. But, with that said, onto a bit of a happier subject...

Rarity is best pony. Who's yours?

Of the Mane 6? Or in general? Because if it's the former then it's always been a tie between Rarity and Fluttershy.

I've always got a soft spot for the dark horse-type characters and her design is pretty sleek.
