He was really bad in Brawl. But we tried so hard.. Yoshi lost against all top tiers, and the game was just balanced incredibly poorly.

When that grab release to Fair spike on Meta Knight was discovered... we thought, this is it. Our crutch in the meta.

But Meta Knight just started to abuse ridiculous OoS options, frame data, and camped us. Yoshi had no answer for it any longer. A lot of characters didn't.
