what you been up to?

Hey, you're alive! Not a whole lot has changed on my end, I've been attending locals more and been on the boards less. It's a nice change, really. Locals are fun, since they're new and exciting and it gets me out of the house for a day.

As for the boards, I've been pretty unimpressed with the new users in the CCI, so I don't look there too much (although I should be less hostile, since I was once exactly like that). What about yourself?

that's cool! I haven't been playing or watching this game at all. And yeah, I tried to read the thread. It's terrible. I miss the days of Shaya glory, with Thinkaman occasionally pulling some stunt or Zelder coming in with a fresh one-liner. It's just so boring now.

I still cannot believe you're 16.

It feels like the thread's become more of a place to prove why you're right as opposed to actual discussion. It doesn't feel like any real knowledge is actually being spread there anymore, but that might be just me. Hopefully it gets better in smash switch?

I'm great, how about you?

I've been pretty good, I graduated a few months ago which was a huge weight off my shoulders. Smash kept me going through school, and it's really nice not to have to do it anymore. Other than that, not much. I've stopped contributing in threads on here as much since I'm more focused on being the best smash player I can be, regardless of what everyone else is doing.

Oh, and as I mentioned before, I'm an adult now, which is honestly kind of terrifying...

How is adulting treating you?

It wasn't too bad before the pandemic hit, I was struggling to find a job but I'd been putting out resumes every week so that kept me busy, plus the freedom to come and go was nice for getting to a lot of smash tournaments, and it paid off with me getting ranked in-region which felt nice. Although it's weird going from being out a lot to being stuck back in one place indefinitely again.
