My friend has been trying to get me to watch that for ages, but I've never gotten around to it. Still don't really know what it's about...

The main character in Steins;Gate, is basically your average wacky mad scientist dude who thinks the world of himself- he worships Dr. Pepper and believes it's the only drink suited for true intellectuals; It's one of his many quirks~

As for what Steins;Gate is actually about, the main character accidentally invents time travel, screws around with the space time continuum for selfish reasons, so the SPC screws back with him in a way that effects all his loved ones and he goes even madder; it's a decent watch.
