I've known this for a long time but I could just never embrace Rosalina as a character because I don't like zoning/camping.

Pika's worst MUs: Mario, Luigi, Ness, Fox

Rosa's worst MUs: MK, Pikachu, ZSS, Sheik

cover each other nicely.
Pikachu beats Olimar and goes even with MK imo.

Yeah Rosa has a solid advantage on Fox, and I've been wondering if Pika really does all that well in that MU. Dabuz is of the mind that Pika beats Olimar but I've yet to see it played at a high level outside of customs (he's scared to play it and prefers to go Rosa). MK being even would mean that Cassio overstated this MU's difficulty (which is amusing considering his posting history in Brawl).

MK is comboable and edgeguardable (even if it looks like he's not due to Shuttle Loop/Dimensional Cape), so Pikachu does just fine in that MU. As long as you avoid getting killed super early, you should win. Avoiding it is the hard part of course...

Pikachu doesn't do well against Fox. ESAM was in fact looking for a secondary to cover the Fox MU. It's probably 60:40 Fox's favor.

Interesting. I don't have enough MK experience or knowledge to comment on that MU, unfortunately, but I believe you.

Fox is kind of a jerk (my opinion of that character has improved a lot overall, too). He's probably 3rd best in the game.

Fox is really really good, he just controls so much space in neutral with his speed.

That's too bad SoullessSense. But I guess that's why you should stay maining small mammals.

I've mained half the cast at this point, and none of my characters hold a candle to my Pikachu, so it's almost seeming fruitless by now.

Actually scratch that, I've had a lot of success with Ryu and 9B reinvigorated my interest. So I'm gonna try that again.

Ryu is good (probably does better vs. Luigi than Pika does).
