except yours was vague enough to be interpreted in any number of ways. failure to make a cohesive point is on you.

The point was cohesive, I believe you are looking for "apparent" or "overt;" however, again, my only point was that For Glory is a competitive experience. Which it is, by definition. Therefore, your liberal interpretation of said point was unwarranted. You created a straw man misrepresenting my argument and pretending as though you refuted it. By the way, it is impossible to refute as it is fact.

Also, it'd be less straw man and more appeal to authority on what constitutes tournament standards.

I mean, you can argue that it is not competitive until you are blue in the face, but I can also just cite a dictionary entry and be done with it. Here is the first entry on Google.

"A straw man is a common form of argument and is an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument which was not advanced by that opponent."

No. It IS a straw man because I did not raise any arguements about tournament standards. YOU did. Ha ha, at this point I cannot tell if you are being serious.

Yet some people's definition of "fun" doesn't include items for the game, so telling people to go to for fun to play with items and a majority of levels which are just aweful sounds rather elitist. The game can be enjoyed in many different ways, and 1v1 no items can be both casual and competitive.
